Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva -49 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-৪৯)

 

If we stand in front of a mirror then we see the image of our face in it. If our face is beautifully decorated then we see the image of beautifully decorated face in the mirror. With this analogy Bhagavata tells that God is the original object and the image of God is reflected in the heart of people.  So, if one glorifies God then the image of glorified God accupies his heart and the person concerned becomes  glorious. Construction of temples, installation of deities, donations of valuable assets, worship of God in a grand manner etc are activities performed by people with the intention of glorifying God. Various types of welfare activities as detailed in the preceding posts are  also performed by people in the name of worship. These are expressions of the good intentions of people’s mind to help the poor and needy people and other entities of the creation. If the things are analyzed in this way it can be seen that through worship people do not offer only some material objects to God. People glorify God with those offerings. Their friendly feelings towards others and kindful intentions to help others are also offered to God along with the offerings of material objects. In this way, like seeing the image of decorated face in a mirror, the worshipers can see the image of glorified and kindful God in their own heart . Considering the things from this angle Guru Harideva tells that the offerings of material objects to God are for the benefit of  the worshiper only . In this regard Guru Harideva further tells that worship of Lord Vishnu is the worship of the origin of everything. All entities in the creation are satisfied if Lord Vishnu is made satisfied through worship. It is also told that God does not eagerly wait to receive worship, offerings etc from human beings. People may worship him if they like or may not worship him if they do not like to do so. God is equally indifferent towards like or dislike, love or hatred etc. Finally it can be said that worship is a work of this material world .Bhagavata describes the results generated by those works as per law of Karma and Guru Harideva further explains those knowledge and instructions contained in the Bhagavata for the benefit of the common people like us. আইনা এখনৰ সন্মুখত থিয় হ’লে আমি তাত নিজৰ মুখৰ প্ৰতিবিম্ব দেখা পাওঁ।  প্ৰসাধন কৰি মুখখন সুন্দৰ কৰি আইনাৰ সন্মুখত থিয় দিলে আইনাতো প্ৰসাধন কৰা সুন্দৰ মুখৰ প্ৰতিচ্ছৱি দেখা যায় । এই উপমা দি ভাগৱতত কোৱা হৈছে যে ঈশ্বৰ হৈছে মূল বস্তু আৰু সেই মূলবস্তুৰ প্ৰতিবিম্ব মানুহৰ হৃদয়ত প্ৰতিফলিত হয়। গতিকে যি মানুহে ঈশ্বৰক মহিমান্বিত কৰে তেওঁৰ হৃদয়ত মহিমামণ্ডিত ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰতিচ্ছৱি স্থাপিত হয় আৰু তাৰ ফলত সেই ব্যক্তি নিজেও মহিমাময় হৈ পৰে।মন্দিৰ নিৰ্মাণ , বিগ্ৰহ প্ৰতিষ্ঠা , মূল্যৱান সা-সম্পত্তি দান ,মহা ধুমধামেৰে কৰা পূজা অৰ্চনা ইত্যাদি কৰ্ম ঈশ্বৰক মহিমান্বিত কৰাৰ মনোভাৱ লৈ কৰা হয় । পূজা অৰ্চনাৰ আলমত মানুহে কৰা  অনেক প্ৰকাৰৰ কল্যাণ মূলক কামৰ কথা আগৰ লিখনিত কৈ অহা হৈছে । এই বিলাক হৈছে দুখ-দুৰ্দশাগ্ৰস্ত মানুহ আৰু জগতত থকা স্থাৱৰ-জঙ্গম সকলো জীৱ-জড়কে সহায় কৰাৰ বাবে মানুহৰ মনত উদয় হোৱা বন্ধুত্বসুলভ আৰ দয়াপূৰ্ণ শুভ প্ৰবৃত্তি । এনে ধৰণে বিচাৰ কৰি চালে দেখা যায় যে পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ মাধ্যমত উপাসকে কেৱল কিছুমান জাগতিক বস্তু ভগৱানক অৰ্পণ নকৰে ।এফালে অৰ্পণ কৰা বস্তুৰ দ্বাৰা ঈশ্বৰক মহিমান্বিত কৰা হয়  আৰু আনফালে বস্তুৰ লগতে পূজকৰ মনৰ দয়া-সহানুভূতি আদি কল্যাণকামী মনোভাৱো ঈশ্বৰৰ ওচৰত অৰ্পিত হয় । এনেদৰে    প্ৰসাধনৰ দ্বাৰা সুন্দৰ কৰা মুখমণ্ডলৰ ছৱি আইনাত প্ৰতিফলিত হোৱাৰ দৰে মহিমাময় পৰম দয়ালু ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰতিচ্ছৱি উপাসকৰ হৃদয়ত প্ৰতিফলিত হয়্।কথাবিলাক এনেদৰে বিচাৰ কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ দ্বাৰা ঈশ্বৰক দিয়া কোনো দ্ৰব্য ঈশ্বৰৰ কামত নাহে । উপাসকৰ মঙ্গলৰ অৰ্থেহে এইবিলাক অৰ্পণ কৰা হয় । এই প্ৰসঙ্গত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই আকৌ কৈছে যে ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ পূজা জগতৰ কল্যাণৰ কাৰণে জগতৰ মূল তত্বত  কৰা আৰাধনা আৰু ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰা জগতৰ সমস্ত জীৱৰ কল্যাণ হোৱাৰ লগতে উপাসকৰ আত্মাৰ তোষণ হয়। মানুহে কৰা পূজাৰ পৰা ভগৱানৰ লব লগীয়া একো নাই । প্ৰকৃতাৰ্থত ঈশ্বৰে মানুহৰ পৰা পূজা অথবা কিবা বস্তু পাবৰ বাবে আশা পালি নাথাকে । পূজা কৰা বা নকৰা অথবা ভগৱানক শ্ৰদ্ধাভক্তি কৰা বা গালি শপনি দিয়া সকলো ভগৱানৰ কাৰণে সমান । তেওঁ সকলোতে সমানে উদাসীন।  কোৱা হৈছে যে পূজা-অৰ্চনা ব্যৱহাৰিক জগতৰ অন্তৰ্গত কৰ্ম আৰু ব্যৱহাৰিক জগতৰ বাবে ঈশ্বৰে নিৰ্দ্ধাৰণ কৰা কৰ্মৰ বিধান অনুসৰি ইয়াৰ ফল পোৱা যায়। কেনে মনোভাৱেৰে পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰিলে পাৰমাৰ্থিক সুফল পোৱা যায় হয় তাক ভাগৱতত বৰ্ণনা কৰা হৈছে আৰু হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কথাবিলাক সহজভাৱে ব্যাখা কৰি  আমাৰ দৰে সাধাৰণ অজ্ঞানী লোকক বুজাই দিয়াৰ চেষ্টা কৰিছে ।(আগলৈ)
