In some of the preceding posts we told that Guru Harideva started his mission of educating common people by establishment of a special type of educational institution at Bahari in 1453 CE. We all are well acquainted with educational institution. There are so many schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions for educating people in different subjects. The school education is of lower level and university education is of higher level and like that. The education obtained in these institutions are of worldly nature. Someone may attain the highest academic degree in certain subject through these institutions but then also his education may not be complete. This is because, in the mundane world things are changing in each moment and so, the knowledge pertaining to those subjects are also undergoing frequent changes. The highest state of knowledge on certain mundane subject attained today becomes null and void immediately after discovery of certain new information on that subject. On the other hand, there are many learned people in this world. They have profound knowledge of various subjects like science ,arts , commerce ,engineering , music ,dance and so on . But there can not be a single human being who can be a master of all those subjects . An expert in medicine can do something in his field only . His knowledge of medicine can not help a farmer in the agricultural field or a sailor in his boating technique. Similar is the case with all branches of knowledge pertaining to the material world. So with this type of knowledge, nobody can be fully satisfied . In spite of that , scriptures never suggest us to reject this type knowledge. Because though this type knowledge is not of ultimate value, it is the initial step towards achievement of the ultimate goal. With this type of idea in mind, Guru Harideva established his first educational institution to guide common people step by step towards the ultimate goal . (to be continued)

শিক্ষা দিয়াৰ অৰ্থে ১৪৫৩ খৃষ্টাব্দত বৰপেটা জিলাৰ বহৰিত প্ৰথমখন বিশেষ ধৰণৰ শিক্ষানুষ্ঠান প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰিছিল । শিক্ষানুষ্ঠানৰ সৈতে আমাৰ সকলোৰে পৰিচয় আছে। মানুহক বিভিন্ন বিষয়ৰ শিক্ষা দিয়াৰ বাবে অসংখ্য স্কুল, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় আমি দেখি আছো । স্কুলৰ শিক্ষা তলৰ খাপৰ আৰু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ শিক্ষা উচ্চ খাপৰ ইত্যাদি কথাও আমি জানো ।কিন্তু এই শিক্ষানুষ্ঠান সমুহত কেৱল জাগতিক বিষয় বস্তুৰ জ্ঞানহে দিয়া হয় । এনে শিক্ষানুষ্ঠানত শিক্ষা গ্ৰহণ কৰি কোনো এটা বিষয়ত উচ্চতম পৰ্যায়ৰ ডিগ্ৰী লোৱাৰ পিছতো শিক্ষা সম্পূৰ্ণ হ’ব নোৱাৰে ।ইয়াৰ কাৰণ হৈছে প্ৰতি মুহুৰ্ত্ততে জাগতিক বিষয় বস্তুৰ পৰিবৰ্ত্তন হৈ থাকে । পৰিবৰ্ত্তনৰ সৈতে সঙ্গতি ৰাখি এই সমুহ জাগতিক
বিষয় বস্তু সম্পৰ্কত নিত্য নতুন তত্ব আবিষ্কাৰ হৈ থাকে। জগতৰ
কোনো এটা বস্তু সম্পৰ্কত আজি যি সৰ্বোচ্চ পৰ্যায়ৰ
জ্ঞান বুলি ধৰা হয় কাইলৈ কোনো নতুন তত্ব আৱিষ্কাৰ হোৱাৰ লগে লগে সেই জ্ঞান অৰ্থহীন হৈ পৰে । আনহাতে জগতত বৃহৎ সংখ্যক শিক্ষিত আৰু জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তি আছে । বিজ্ঞান ,কলা , বাণিজ্য , যান্ত্ৰিক বিদ্যা , চিকিৎসা বিদ্যা , নৃত্য ,সঙ্গীত ইত্যাদি অনেক বিষয়ৰ অমোঘ জ্ঞান সম্পন্ন পণ্ডিত আছে ।কিন্তু এনে কোনো এজন ব্যক্তি নাই যি সমস্ত জাগতিক বিদ্যাৰ পাণ্ডিত্য অৰ্জন কৰিব পাৰে ।ভেষজ বিদ্যাত পাৰদৰ্শী এজন চিকিৎসকে তেওঁৰ নিজৰ জ্ঞানৰ পৰিধিৰ ভিতৰত অনেক কাম কৰিব পাৰে ।কিন্তু তেওঁৰ ভেষজ বিদ্যাৰ জ্ঞানে এজন খেতিয়কৰ কৃষি কৰ্ম বা এজন নাবিকৰ নৌকা চালনাত একো সহায় কৰিব নোৱাৰে । অন্যান্য জাগতিক বিষয় বস্তুৰ ক্ষেত্ৰতো এই কথা সত্য । জাগতিক বিষয় বস্তুৰ জ্ঞান সকলো প্ৰকাৰে সীমাবদ্ধ হোৱা হেতুকে ই কাকো কেতিয়াও সম্পূৰ্ণ ৰূপে সন্তুষ্ট কৰা সম্ভৱ নহয় ।কিন্তু শাস্ত্ৰত এই জাগতিক বিষয়-বস্তুৰ জ্ঞানৰ একো উপকাৰিতা নাই বুলি কোৱা নাই বা এই জ্ঞানৰ পৰা আঁতৰি থাকিবলৈও কোৱা নাই । কাৰণ জাগতিক বিষয়ৰ জ্ঞান পৰম জ্ঞান নহয় যদিও এই জ্ঞানৰ সাধনা পৰম তত্বজ্ঞান লাভ কৰাৰ দিশত লোৱা প্ৰথম পৰ্যায়ৰ পদক্ষেপ ।এনে ধৰণৰ মনোভাৱ লৈ হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই বহৰিত তেওঁৰ প্ৰথমখন শিক্ষানুষ্ঠান স্থাপন কৰি জনসাধাৰণক পৰ্যায়ক্ৰমে মূল লক্ষৰ পিনে আগবঢ়াই নিয়াৰ পৰিকল্পনা কৰিছিল।(আগলৈ) ।
