The “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva-22 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠান-২২)

 

In the preceding post it is told that we are endowed with mind or antahkarana, senses and the prana or flow of vital energy. Bhagavata tells that by proper utilization of these facilities provided with the human body, we can smoothly enjoy the outcomes of our past deeds , we can make spiritual progress and can finally attain liberation. Now, our problems are that,  we are bound to enjoy the outcomes of our past deeds in this life and in addition to that we are bound to perform new activities in this life also. In that way we ourselves are creating unending bondage and the resultant repeated births and deaths for us.  Bhagavata tells that taking birth as a human being means getting the facility to overcome the bondage and the resultant troubles. If the inner senses, mind or  antahkarana and the pranas etc are purified by certain kinds of activities as prescribed in the Vedic scriprures,  then  human beings become able to determine what is better for him and do his duties in accordance to that . Bhagavata compares human body with a well constructed boat. If this boat is allowed to run under the expert control of one’s Guru, then the results of the works one performs in this life will not be added to the accumulated stock of the past deeds at his credit. Bhagavata assures that the God Almighty will help in smooth sailing of our life  under such condition. Guru Harideva  started his missionary activities with the intention of improvement of the spiritual , cultural, social , economical conditions of the common people by establishment  of his first Sara institution  in the middle of  15^th century CE. At that time,the common people of Assam had no facility even for basic education. Education facility was limited to a very small section of people. People of lower casts , ladies and many other classes  were not allowed to attain  any kind of  education . But the Satra institution of Guru Harideva was open for all classes of people including women. In addition to the normal deity of Lord Vishnu the scripture Bhagavata was also  established in the Satra  as the   the word or sound  from  of the deity and from that source, Guru Harideva started educating the common people for the overall progress of them. ভগৱানে মন বা অন্তঃকৰণ, ইন্দ্ৰিয় , প্ৰাণ শক্তি আদি ব্যৱস্থাসমুহ আমাৰ মঙ্গলৰ অৰ্থে আমাৰ শৰীৰৰ সৈতে সংযুক্ত কৰি ৰাখিছে ।ভাগৱতত কোৱা হৈছে যে এই যন্ত্ৰসমুহৰ শুদ্ধিকৰণ আৰু সদ্ব্যৱহাৰ কৰি আমি এই জন্মত পূৰ্বজন্মৰ কৰ্মফল ভোগ কৰাৰ সমান্তৰালভাৱে মুক্তিৰ পথতো আগ বাঢ়ি যাব পাৰো ।আমাৰ সমস্যা দুই প্ৰকাৰৰ – বৰ্ত্তমান জন্মত পূৰ্বজন্মৰ কৰ্মৰ ফল ভোগ কৰাৰ বাবে আমি বাধ্য । আনহাতে  কৰ্মফল ভোগ কৰি থকা সময়তো আমি নতুন নতুন কৰ্ম কৰাৰ বাবে বাধ্য হওঁ আৰু এই কৰ্মৰ ফলো ভৱিষ্যতৰ ভোগৰ ভাৱে কৰ্মভাণ্ডাৰত জমা হয় ।এনেদৰে আমি নিজে নিজৰ বাবে এক অন্তহীন কৰ্মবন্ধনৰ সৃষ্টি কৰি সেই কৰ্মচক্ৰত আৱদ্ধ হৈ পৰো ।ভাগৱতে কৈছে যে মানৱ শৰীৰত জন্ম লাভ কৰাৰ মানেই হৈছে এই সংকট অৱস্থাৰ পৰা উদ্ধাৰ হোৱাৰ পথ মুকলি হোৱা ।শাস্ত্ৰৰ নিয়ম মতে কাম কৰি ভগৱানৰ দান স্বৰূপে লাভ কৰা মন বা অন্তঃকৰণ, ইন্দ্ৰিয়, প্ৰাণ শক্তি আদি ব্যৱস্থাসমুহ শুদ্ধিকৰণ কৰিব পাৰিলে মানুহে নিজৰ বাবে মঙ্গলদায়ক কি তাক নিজে নিৰ্দ্ধাৰণ কৰিব পাৰে আৰু বন্ধনৰ পৰা মুক্ত হোৱাৰ পথ বিচাৰি পায়।ভাগৱতত মানৱ শৰীৰক এখন শক্তিশালী নাৱঁৰ সৈতে ৰিজনি কৰা হৈছে।গুৰু হৈছে এই নাৱঁৰ অভিজ্ঞ গুৰিয়াল। গুৰুৰ নিৰ্দেশ অনুসৰি  শৰীৰৰ কৰ্মসুহ কৰি গ’লে বৰ্ত্তমান জন্মৰ কৰা কৰ্মৰ ফল পুৰণি কৰ্মভাণ্ডাৰত সংযোগ হ’ব নোৱাৰে । ভাগৱতে নিশ্চয়তা প্ৰদান কৰি কৈছে যে ওপৰোক্ত প্ৰকাৰে মানৱ জীৱন পৰিচালনা কৰিলে ভগৱানে জীৱন যাত্ৰাও সুগম কৰি তোলে অৰ্থাৎ জীৱন ধাৰণৰ বাবে  প্ৰয়োজন হোৱা বৈষয়িক সা-সুবিধাখিনি সহজলভ্য কৰি দিয়ে আৰু তাৰ ফলত পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনাৰ পথ সহজ হয়্।ভাগৱতৰ এইসমুহ বাণীৰ আধাৰত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই জনসাধাৰণৰ পাৰমাৰ্থিক , আৰ্থিক ,সামাজিক সংস্কৃতিক আদি সকলো দিশৰ প্ৰগতিৰ অৰ্থে ১৪৫৩ খৃঃত প্ৰথমখন সত্ৰানুষ্ঠান স্থাপন কৰিছিল ।সেই সময়ত সাধাৰণ লোকৰ বাবে নিন্মতম প্ৰাথমিক শিক্ষা গ্ৰহণৰ ব্যৱস্থাও নাছিল । সমাজৰ এটা অতি ক্ষুদ্ৰ অংশৰ লোকৰ বাবেহে শিক্ষাৰ ব্যৱস্থা আছিল ।সমাজে নিম্ন জাতিৰ বুলি ভৱা লোক আৰু মহিলাৰ বাবে শিক্ষাৰ ব্যৱস্থা নাছিল ।কিন্তু হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰা সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ শিক্ষা ব্যৱস্থা উচ্চ-নীচ সকলো জাতি , ডেকা-বুঢ়া সকলো বয়সৰ লোক , পুৰুষ-মহিলা আদিকে ধৰি সকলোৰে বাবে খোলা আছিল । ভগৱানৰ সাধাৰণ বিগ্ৰহৰ লগতে শব্দ বা অক্ষৰ ৰূপৰ ঈশ্বৰ বিগ্ৰহ  হিচাপে সত্ৰত ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰ প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰা হৈছিল আৰু ইয়াকে আধাৰ গ্ৰন্থ হিচাপে লৈ গুৰুজনাই সকলো স্তৰৰ জনসাধাৰণৰ মাজত সহজ সৰল ভাগৱত জ্ঞান বিলাই দি সকলোকে সৰ্বাঙ্গীণ উন্নতিৰ পথ প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰিছিল ।(আগলৈ)
