Understanding Guru Harideva’s Approach Towards Unity-128 (একতাৰ অনুসন্ধান সম্পৰ্কত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গী বুজাৰ প্ৰয়াস-১২৮)

 

In the earlier posts it is told that Guru Harideva decided to make pilgrimage tour and was at Aswaklanta. He was aware of the fact  that before going on pilgrimage, one should take refuge in his Ishta Devata and learn the rules and regulations to be followed during pilgrimage. For this purpose one should approach a Guru. So, the mind of Guru Harideva was fully occupied with the thought of having a Guru before proceeding further in his journey. From the core of his heart he was praying to Lord Janardana, the presiding deity of Aswaklanata temple for help in this regard. Scriptures tell that God is always with us. So he knows in a better way what our nacessacity is and what we want in actuality. Nothing in us remains unknown to God. It is said that if we are sincerely and honestly prepare ourselves, we can get a Guru according to our compatibility and requirement by the grace of God. In Bhagavata it is told that before the creation, God Almighty initiated Lord Brahma and revealed the Veda to him and  Veda is the origin of knowledge. But prior to that, Brahma had to perform severe penance to make himself eligible that initiation. Thus we see that the original Guru was God Almighty and his first disciple was creator Brahma. Also, before creation Brahma performed penance to prepare himself to receive Veda. After that only Brahma was initiated by his Guru, the God Almighty. From that origin, the lineage of Guru and disciple tradition, process of preparing oneself as competent disciple and subsequent initiation by a Guru are being continued till today. So guru is always there, he is every where. One need not put effort in finding a Guru. Scriptures advise that one should put all efforts to make himself compatible in all respect and assures that when one is eligible enough God will bring him in contact of appropriate Guru in any form or God himself will come to him in the form of a Guru. This assurance given in the scriptures practically came true in case of Guru Harideva. Next morning when Guru Harideva entered into the temple of Lord Janardana, he suddenly met an Ascetic there.  Following invitation from the Ascetic, Guru Harideva had a close door meeting with him in the temple. There Guru Harideva accepted that ascetic as his  Guru.Then following instructions from the Guru he took refuge in his own Ishta devata, got initiation with the Guru Mantra or or Ishta Mantra and learnt the rules and regulations of pilgrimage tour . আগতে কৈ অহা হৈছে যে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই তীৰ্থ ভ্ৰমণ কৰাৰ সিদ্ধান্ত লোৱাৰ পিছত অশ্বক্লান্ত মন্দিৰত উপস্থিত হৈছিল। গুৰুজনাই জানিছিল যে তীৰ্থ ভ্ৰমণলৈ যোৱাৰ পূৰ্বে উপযুক্ত গুৰু গ্ৰহণ কৰি নিজৰ ইষ্ট দেৱতাৰ শৰণ ল’ব লাগে আৰু তীৰ্থ দৰ্শনৰ শাস্ত্ৰীয় নীতি নিয়ম শিকিব লাগে।  তীৰ্থ যাত্ৰা আৰম্ভ কৰাৰ পূৰ্বে উপযুক্ত গুৰু বিচাৰি উলিয়াই শৰণ গ্ৰহণ কৰা কিদৰে সম্ভৱ হ’ব পাৰে সেই চিন্তাত গুৰুজনাৰ মন ব্যতিব্যস্ত হৈ পৰিছিল। এই উদ্দেশ্য পূৰণৰ অৰ্থে সহায় বিচাৰি অশ্বক্লান্ত মন্দিৰৰ উপাস্য বিগ্ৰহ ভগৱান জনাৰ্দনৰ ওচৰত তেওঁ কাতৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা জনাইছিল। শাস্ত্ৰত কোৱা হৈছে যে পৰমেশ্বৰ সদা সৰ্বদা আমাৰ লগতে আছে। আমাৰ বাবে আচলতে কি প্ৰয়োজন আৰু আমি কি বিচাৰো তাক পৰমেশ্বৰে আমাতকৈও ভালকৈ জানে। আমাৰ মনৰ ভিতৰৰ একো কথাই ঈশ্বৰৰ পৰা গোপন হৈ নাথাকে। একাগ্ৰতা আৰু সততা সহকাৰে নিজকে উপযুক্ত পাত্ৰ কৰি গঢ় দিব পাৰিলে ঈশ্বৰৰ অনুগ্ৰহতে যোগ্যতা আৰু প্ৰয়োজন অনুপাতে গুৰু পোৱা যায়। ভাগৱতত কোৱা হৈছে যে সৃষ্টিৰ পূৰ্বাৱস্থাত পৰমেশ্বৰে ব্ৰহ্মাক দীক্ষাৰ জৰিয়তে  বেদজ্ঞান প্ৰদান কৰিছিল। এই বেদজ্ঞান সমস্ত জ্ঞানৰ আদি মূল। কিন্তু দীক্ষা গ্ৰহণৰ পূৰ্বে ব্ৰহ্মাই কঠোৰ তপস্যাৰ দ্বাৰা নিজকে বেদজ্ঞান গ্ৰহণৰ বাবে উপযুক্ত পাত্ৰ হিচাপে গঢ়ি তুলিব লগীয়া হৈছিল। ইয়াৰ পৰা বুজা যায় যে পৰমেশ্বৰ জগতৰ আদি গুৰু আৰু ব্ৰহ্মা তেওঁৰ প্ৰথম শিষ্য। আকৌ ব্ৰহ্মাই কঠোৰ তপস্যাৰ দ্বাৰা নিজকে উপযুক্ত পাত্ৰ হিচাপে গঢ় দিয়াৰ পিছতহে ভগৱানে ব্ৰহ্মাক শিষ্য হিচাপে গ্ৰহণ কৰি বেদজ্ঞান প্ৰদান কৰিছিল। সেই মূল অৱস্থাৰ পৰাই  গুৰু শিষ্য পৰম্পৰা, শিষ্যই কঠোৰ সাধানৰ দ্বাৰা নিজকে প্ৰস্তুত কৰা আৰু তাৰ পিছত গুৰুৰ পৰা দীক্ষাৰ জৰিয়তে জ্ঞান গ্ৰহণ কৰা ইত্যাদি প্ৰক্ৰিয়া বৰ্ত্তমানলৈকে চলি আহিছে। গতিকে গুৰু সদায় আছে আৰু সৰ্বত্ৰতে ব্যাপ্ত হৈ আছে। গুৰু বিচৰাৰ বাবে চেষ্টা কৰাৰ প্ৰয়োজন নহয় । শাস্ত্ৰই উপদেশ দিছে যে  জ্ঞান গ্ৰহণৰ বাবে নিজকে উপযুক্ত কৰি গঢ়ি তোলাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে সমস্ত চেষ্টাশক্তি প্ৰয়োগ কৰিব লাগে । লগতে কৈছে যে নিজকে উপযুক্ত কৰি গঢ়ি তোলাৰ পিছত ঈশ্বৰে উপযুক্ত গুৰুৰ সৈতে শিষ্যক লগ লগাই দিয়ে অথবা নিজে গুৰুৰ ৰূপত আহি শিষ্যক দীক্ষা দিয়ে,  জ্ঞান প্ৰদান কৰে আৰু ই নিশ্চিত সত্য । শাস্ত্ৰৰ এই  বচন হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ জীৱনত ব্যৱহাৰিক ভাৱে সত্য বুলি প্ৰমাণিত হৈছিল ।  হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই পিছদিনাখন ৰাতিপুৱা জনাৰ্দন মন্দিৰত প্ৰবেশ কৰাৰ পিছত হঠাতে এজন সন্ন্যাসীক লগ পাইছিল। সন্ন্যাসীৰ আমন্ত্ৰণ ক্ৰমে মন্দিৰৰ বন্ধ কোঠাৰ ভিতৰত গুৰুজনাই সেই সন্ন্যাসীৰ সৈতে মিলিত হৈছিল । তাতে তেওঁ সেই সন্ন্যাসীক গুৰু বৰণ কৰিছিল আৰু গুৰুৰ নিৰ্দেশ অনুসৰি ইষ্ট দেৱতাৰ শৰণ লৈ গুৰুমন্ত্ৰ বা ইষ্ট মন্ত্ৰ গ্ৰহণ কৰাৰ লগতে তীৰ্থ ভ্ৰমণ সম্পৰ্কীয় সকলো নীতি নিয়ম শিকি লৈছিল । (আগলৈ)
