Bhagavata tells that rich people should worship God in grand manner
by spending huge amount of their wealth. We have discussed this
topic in some of our preceding posts. In this regard Guru Harideva further
tells that God is very kind to all and he does not deprive poor people from
getting the pleasure of worshiping him
if they sincerely desire to do so. In the process of worship one’s sincerity of
mind is more important than the physical offerings of material objects. Worship
is an easy and attractive way of connecting one’s mind with God and physical
offering of various worldly material make the process of worship more attractive. Guru Harideva tells that when a man becomes
thirsty then he wants a glass of water to drink. Thus only a glass of water is
sufficient for satisfaction of a thirty people. In a similar way God wants love
from human beings.So, God is satisfied if a poor man worship him by offering flowers,
leafs, water etc with deep affection of his heart. Explaining the things further
Guru Harideva tells that a man may be rich or poor from human point of view.
But from the point of view of God all are equal and all human beings have equal
right to worship him in accordance with their own capacities. The rich people
should spend huge amount of money without miserliness and arrange worship in a
grand manner. In that way the money and wealth under their possession can be
utilized for the benefit of the society as described in the preceding posts. So,
rich people are advised to perform worship in a grand way for their own spiritual
progress. On the other hand poor people possess no money to spend and so they
are advised to offer flowers, water etc and worship God. It is also said that nothing
can be hidden from the omniscient God. He knows whether a peson is really poor
or not. So, to get the desired benefit
from worship rich people should not hesitate to spend sufficient money due to

ভগৱতত কোৱা হৈছে যে ধন-সম্পদশালী গৃহস্থ, ৰজা-মহাৰজা আদিয়ে নিজৰ শক্তি-সামৰ্থ্য, ধন-সম্পদ ইত্যাদি ঈশ্বৰৰ সেৱাৰ কামত ব্যৱহাৰ কৰাৰ অৰ্থে অতি ধুমধামেৰে পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰা উচিত |এই প্ৰসঙ্গত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে অতি দুখীয়া ব্যক্তিয়েও যদি ভগৱানৰ পূজা অৰ্চনা কৰি আনন্দ লাভ কৰিব বিচাৰে তেন্তে পৰম কৰুণাময় ভগৱানে তেওঁক তেনে আনন্দ লাভৰ পৰা বঞ্ছিত নকৰে। ভগৱানৰ পূজা অৰ্চনা কৰাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত দ্ৰব্যতকৈ পূজকৰ আন্তৰিকতাৰহে অধিক প্ৰয়োজন। পূজা-অৰ্চনা ঈশ্বৰৰ সৈতে মনৰ সংযোগ সাধন কৰাৰ এক সহজ আৰু আকৰ্ষণীয় উপায় বা অৱলম্বন। বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ জাগতিক দ্ৰব্য বা সা-সামগ্ৰী ব্যৱহাৰ কৰি পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰিলে এই কাম অধিক সহজ আৰু আকৰ্ষণীয় হয় । গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে পিয়াহত আতুৰ হৈ থকা ব্যক্তিয়ে এগিলাছ পানী খাবলৈ বিচাৰে আৰু পানীগিলাছ পালেই সন্তুষ্ট হয় । একেদৰে ঈশ্বৰে মানুহৰ পৰা প্ৰেমপূৰ্ণ সম্পৰ্ক বিচাৰে আৰু সেয়া পালেই সন্তুষ্ট হয় । সেই কাৰণে দুখীয়া মানুহে প্ৰেমপূৰ্ণ অন্তৰেৰে এপাহ ফুল , তুলসীৰ পাত , জল আদি সুলভ বস্তু নিবেদন কৰি পূজা কৰিলেও ঈশ্বৰ সন্তুষ্ট হয় । কথাখিনি বিতংভাৱে ব্যাখ্যা কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই পুনৰ কৈছে যে মানুহৰ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গীৰে বিচাৰ কৰিলেহে ধনী মানুহ , দুখীয়া মানুহ ইত্যাদি ধৰণৰ প্ৰভেদ দেখা যায় । কিন্তু ঈশ্বৰৰ দৃষ্টিত সকলো মানুহ সমান আৰু তেওঁক পূজা কৰাৰ অধিকাৰো সকলোৰে বাবে সমান। কিন্তু প্ৰত্যেক মানুহে নিজৰ নিজৰ শক্তি-সামৰ্থ্য অনুসৰিহে পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰা উচিত আৰু সেইমতে কৰি গ’লেই সকলোৱে সমানে ফল লাভ কৰে। সেইফালৰ পৰা বিচাৰ কৰি যাৰ অৰ্থসম্বল আছে তেওঁলোকে কৃপণালি নকৰাকৈ অতি জাকজমকতাৰে ব্যয়বহুল যাগ-যজ্ঞাদি অনুষ্ঠানৰ দ্বাৰা পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰা কৰ্ত্তব্য বুলি কোৱা হৈছে। ধনৱান লোকে পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ নামত প্ৰচুৰ অৰ্থ ব্যয় কৰিলে নিজৰ পাৰমাৰ্থিক প্ৰগতি হোৱাৰ লগতে তেওঁলোকে খৰচ কৰা ধনৰ দ্বাৰা সমাজৰ অন্যান্য অনেক লোকৰ উপকাৰ সাধন হয়, বহু ক্ষেত্ৰত সমাজৰ উপকাৰ হয়। সেই কাৰণে ব্যয়বহুলভাৱে পূজা অৰ্চনা কৰাটো ধনৱান ব্যক্তিৰ কৰ্ত্তব্য বুলি কোৱা হৈছে । আনহাতে যাৰ অৰ্থসম্বল নাই তেওঁলোকক অতি সাধাৰণভাৱে ফুল,জল আদি সহজতে আহৰণ কৰিব পৰা দ্ৰব্যৰ দ্বাৰা পূজা অৰ্চনা কৰাৰ উপদেশ দিয়া হৈছে । লগতে কোৱা হৈছে যে ভগৱান অন্তৰ্যামী । কোন ব্যক্তিয়ে প্ৰচুৰ অৰ্থসম্বল থকা সত্বেও পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ নামত ধন ব্যয় কৰাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত কৃপণালি কৰে আৰু কোন ব্যক্তি প্ৰকৃততে সম্বলহীন তাক তেওঁ জানে আৰু সেইমতে পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ ফল লাভ হয়। (আগলৈ)
