Offering of foodstuffs constitutes one of the most essential parts of worship. Fruits, grains, milk and various types of food items prepared from milk, cooked food and many other food items are included in the list of offerings. With those foodstuffs offered to the deity human beings, animal, birds and many other living entities can also be made satisfied. Bhagavata advises rich people to offer huge quantity of delicious and healthy foodstuffs to the deities during celebration of worship arranged by them.It is also suggested that after completion of worship those food items or “Prasada” should be distributed among the people of all classes and proper arrangements should be made to supply due share of the same to animals, birds and other living beings. Based on those instructions of  the Bhagavata Guru Harideva tells that with such activities all living beings become satisfied and so this is  considered as worship of God present in all living beings as their “Paramatma” or Soul. Guru Harideva has given some special instructions of his own regarding offerings of flowers ,fruits ,  foodstuffs , leafs and other materials during worship. We know that the climatic conditions of different places are different. Because of that, similar types of flowers, fruits, grains etc are not grown in all places. Thus all people of a particular region may not know all items listed  in the scriptures or regulatory books. Moreover, in one particular region also all items are not produced in all seasons .Keeping all these things in mind Guru Haideva provides   list of many items locally produced in Assam for use  as offerings during worship. That list includes many local varieties of seasonal flowers, fruits, grains etc. Suggestions regarding what is to be offered in which month are also provided by him along with that. From this it can be understood that Guru Haideva paid much importance on “Archana” or worship and he tried to make local people interested in professions like agriculture, horticulture, cow farming, plantation and preservation of forest etc by connecting those professions with the worship of God. খাদ্যসম্ভাৰ নিবেদন কৰাটো পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ এক অপৰিহাৰ্য অঙ্গ ।বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ ফল-মূল , শস্য , গাখীৰ আৰু গাখীৰৰ পৰা তৈয়াৰ কৰা বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ খাদ্যবস্তু , ৰান্ধি দিয়া ভোগ আৰু অন্যান্য অনেক প্ৰকাৰৰ খাদ্যসম্ভাৰ পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰাৰ সময়ত ঈশ্বৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে নিবেদন কৰা হয় ।বিগ্ৰহৰ সন্মুখত নিবেদন কৰা এই খাদ্যবস্তুৰ দ্বাৰা মানুহ, জীৱজন্তু .পশু-পক্ষীকে ধৰি অনেক জীৱৰ সন্তুষ্টি সাধন কৰিব পাৰি। ভাগৱতত ধনৱান লোকক উপদেশ দি কোৱা হৈছে তেওঁলোকে প্ৰচুৰ পৰিমাণৰ সুস্বাদু আৰু পুষ্টিকৰ খাদ্যসম্ভাৰ নিবেদন কৰি ঈশ্বৰৰ পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰা উচিত।পূজা সমাপ্ত হোৱাৰ পিছত সেই খাদ্যবস্তু বা প্ৰসাদ সকলো শ্ৰেণীৰ মানুহৰ মাজত বিতৰণ কৰাৰ উপৰিও জীৱ-জন্তু চৰাই চিৰিকটিকে ধৰি সকলো প্ৰাণীয়ে যাতে সেই খাদ্যৰ ভাগ পায় তাৰ ব্যৱস্থা কৰিব লাগে। ভাগৱতৰ এনে নিৰ্দেশৰ ওপৰত ভিত্তি কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে প্ৰসাদ বিতৰণৰ কৰ্মৰ দ্বাৰা সকলো জীৱৰ সন্তুষ্টি সাধন হয় আৰু  এই প্ৰক্ৰিয়াৰ দ্বাৰা সকলো জীৱৰ ভিতৰত পৰমাত্মা ৰূপে অৱস্থিত পৰমেশ্বৰক পূজা কৰা হয় । পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ বাবে নিবেদন কৰা বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ পুষ্প ,পত্ৰ,  দ্ৰব্য , প্ৰসাদ , উপকৰণ আদিৰ সম্পৰ্কত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কিছুমান নিজস্ব নিৰ্দেশ প্ৰদান কৰিছে। আমি জানো যে বিভিন্ন ঠাইৰ জলবায়ু বেলেগ বেলেগ হোৱা হেতুকে সকলো বস্তু সকলো ঠাইত উৎপন্ন নহয় । ভাগৱতকে ধৰি বিভিন্ন শাস্ত্ৰ আৰু পূজাবিধি সমুহত যিবিলাক দ্ৰব্য-উপকৰণৰ নাম উলেখ কৰা হৈছে সেই সকলো বস্তু সকলো ঠাইতে পোৱা নাযায়। সেই কাৰণে সকলো বস্তু সকলো ঠাইৰ লোকে চিনিও নাপায় । তদুপৰি একেখন ঠাইৰ কথা ধৰিলেও সকলো বস্তু সকলো ঋতুতে উপলব্ধ নহয় । এইবিলাক কথা বিবেচনা কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই পূজা-অৰ্চনাত নিবেদন কৰাৰ বাবে অসমত স্থানীয়ভাৱে উৎপাদিত অনেক দ্ৰব্যৰ নাম উল্লেখ কৰিছে।  বিভিন্ন ঋতুত উৎপন্ন হোৱা বিভিন্ন ফুল ,ফল ,শস্য আৰু অন্যান্য বস্তুৰ নাম উল্লেখ কৰি কোন মাহত কি ফুলৰ  দ্বাৰা পূজা কৰিব লাগে , কি ফলমূল নিবেদন কৰিব লাগে , কি শস্য ব্যৱহাৰ কৰি ভোগ-প্ৰসাদ তৈয়াৰ কৰিব লাগে ইত্যাদি কথা গুৰুজনাই বিতংভাৱে বৰ্ণনা কৰিছে । ইয়াৰ পৰাই বুজিব পাৰি যে গুৰুজনাই পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ ওপৰত যথেষ্ট গুৰুত্ব দিছিল আৰু লগতে পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ আলমত  কৃষিকৰ্ম, গোপালন , ফল-ফুল আৰু গছ-গছনিৰ ৰোপণ ,সংৰক্ষণ,প্ৰতিপালন ইত্যাদি বৃত্তিসমুহক ঈশ্বৰৰ সেৱাপূজাৰ সৈতে সংলগ্ন কৰি সেইবিলাকৰ সংৰক্ষণ আৰু বৃদ্ধিৰ বাবে সময়োপযোগী ব্যৱস্থা গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল । (আগলৈ)
