Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva -44 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-৪৪)

 

In the Bhagavata it is suggested that rich people should utilize parts of their wealth for construction of temple.  In the temple they should install deity of Lord Vishnu of any name and form on which they have unshaken faith. It is also suggested that rich people should spent sufficient money to make the construction of the temples very strong. Also there should be gardens attached to the temple. Proper arrangements should be made for daily worship of the deity. In addition there should be arrangements for celebration of special festivals in the temples from time to time.During  those festivals elaborate arrangements should be made for special worship of deity. Along with that provision of cultural and social welfare programs etc should be there. Wealthy people are also encouraged to donate land, markets and other permanent assets to the temples. The idea behind this is to provide regular source of income for maintenance of the continuity of  regular worship of the deity and special festivals celebrated in the temples. Bhagavata tells that some people construct temples or establish deities or donate properties for maintenance of temples and worship of deities with certain desires in mind. Their desires are fulfilled to their satisfaction by performance of those works. But sometimes one single person constructs temple, installs deity and donates properties for maintenance of the temple.   Bhagavata tells that by performance of such activities without expectation of anything in return people can attain spiritual perfection and subsequent liberation. Guru Harideva cited the example of king Indradumnya to explain this fact. It is said that king Indradyumna constructed a very strong temple at Puri. He installed the deity of Lord Vishnu in the name and form of Lord Jagannatha there. He donated  his huge assets for conduction of the worship of Lord Jagannatha and maintenance of the temple etc. He was free from any desire and was not at all interested to gain any personal recognization for those great  works done by him. As a mark of that  he surrendered  his body-mind complex in the service of Lord Jagannatha and served Lord Jagannatha as a slave of him  . Guru Harideva tells that King Indradumnya attained spiritual perfection by worship of Lord Vishnu in this manner. (to be continued)  

ভাগৱতে  উপদেশ দি কৈছে যে সামৰ্থ্যৱান ধনী ব্যক্তিয়ে নিজৰ সা-সম্পদৰ এটা অংশ মন্দিৰ নিৰ্মাণৰ অৰ্থে ব্যয় কৰিব লাগে। ভগৱান  বিষ্ণুৰ যি নাম-ৰূপৰ ওপৰত তেওঁৰ অটল বিশ্বাস থাকে সেই নাম আৰু ৰূপৰ উপাস্য বিগ্ৰহ মন্দিৰত প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰিব লাগে।লগতে এই কথাও কোৱা হৈছে যে ভগৱানৰ মন্দিৰ সুদৃঢ় হ’ব লাগে আৰু তাৰ বাবে যিমান অৰ্থৰ প্ৰয়োজন হয়  সিমান অৰ্থ ধনী ব্যক্তিয়ে অকপটে খৰচ কৰা উচিত। মন্দিৰৰ সৈতে সংলগ কৰি ফল-ফুলৰ বাগান নিৰ্মাণ কৰিব লাগে। মন্দিৰত প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত বিগ্ৰহৰ নিত্যপূজাৰ ব্যৱস্থা কৰিব লাগে ।ইয়াৰোপৰি মন্দিৰসমুহত সময়ে সময়ে বিশেষ বিশষ উৎসৱ-পাৰ্বন অনুষ্ঠিত কৰিব লাগে ।উৎসৱ-পাৰ্বন সমুহ পালন কৰাৰ সময়ত বিগ্ৰহৰ বিশেষ পূজা-অৰ্চনা কৰাৰ লগতে বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ আকৰ্ষণীয় সাংস্কৃতিক-সামাজিক শিক্ষমূলক কাৰ্যসূচী অতি ধুমধামেৰে আয়োজন কৰা উচিত। সম্পদশালী ব্যক্তিক এই মন্দিৰ বিলাকত ভূমি ,বজাৰ ইত্যাদি স্থাৱৰ সা-সম্পত্তি দান কৰাৰ বাবেও উৎসাহিত কৰা হৈছে । মন্দিৰ নিৰ্মাণ কৰা আৰু পূজা-সেৱাৰ ব্যৱস্থা প্ৰচলন কৰা ব্যক্তিৰ মৃত্যুৰ পিছতো যাতে বিগ্ৰহৰ পূজা-অৰ্চনা আৰু মন্দিৰৰ উৎসৱ্-পাৰ্বন আদি সেৱাসমুহ সুকলমে চলি থাকিব পাৰে তাৰ বাবে এনে উপদেশ দিয়া হৈছে । ভাগৱতে কৈছে যে কিছুমান ব্যক্তিয়ে মনৰ অকাংক্ষা পূৰণৰ অৰ্থে মন্দিৰ নিৰ্মাণ কৰে  অথবা বিগ্ৰহ প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰে অথবা মন্দিৰৰ কাজ-কৰ্ম চলাই নিয়াৰ বাবে সা-সম্পত্তি দান কৰে । এইবিলাক কৰ্মৰ দ্বাৰা তেওঁলোকৰ বৈষয়িক মনোকামনা পূৰ্ণ হয় । কিন্তু যদি কোনো এজন ব্যক্তিয়ে বৈষয়িক কামনা-বাসনাৰ পৰা মুক্ত হৈ এককভাৱে মন্দিৰ নিৰ্মাণ কৰি তাত বিগ্ৰহ প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰে আৰু সেই বিগ্ৰহৰ পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ লগতে মন্দিৰৰ অন্যান্য সেৱামূলক কাৰ্যসমুহ  চিৰকাল চলি থাকিব পৰাকৈ নিজৰ সমস্ত সা-সম্পদ দান কৰে তেন্তে তেওঁ পাৰমাৰ্থিক পূৰ্ণতা লাভ কৰিব পাৰে । হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই ইন্দ্ৰদ্যুম্ন ৰজাৰ কাহিনীৰ মাধ্যমত এই তত্ব ব্যাখ্যা কৰিছে । কোৱা হৈছে যে ইন্দ্ৰ্দ্যুম্ন ৰজাই পুৰীত এটা সুদৃঢ় মন্দিৰ নিৰ্মাণ কৰিছিল । সেই মন্দিৰত তেওঁ জগন্নাথ নাম আৰু ৰূপধাৰী ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ বিগ্ৰহ প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰিছিল । সেই বিগ্ৰহৰ পূজা-অৰ্চনা আৰু মন্দিৰৰ সমস্ত কাৰ্য  চিৰকাল ধৰি চলি থকাৰ সুবিধাৰ্থে তেওঁ নিজৰ সমস্ত ৰাজকীয় সা-সম্পদ দান কৰিছিল ।ইমানবোৰ মহৎ কাৰ্যৰ বিনিময়ত তেওঁ কোনো ধৰণৰ ব্যক্তিগত লাভালাভ বা স্বীকৃতি বিচৰা নাছিল । সেই কাৰণে তেওঁ নিজৰ শৰীৰ আৰু মনকো জগন্নাথৰূপী ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ দাসত্বমূলক সেৱাকৰ্মত নিবেদন কৰিছিল।হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে এই ধৰণৰ পূজা-অৰ্চনাৰ দ্বাৰা ৰজা ইন্দ্ৰদ্যুম্নই পাৰমাৰ্থিক পূৰ্ণতা লাভ কৰিছিল ।(আগলৈ)
