The “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva-5 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠান-৫)

 

In the preceding post it is told that the God Almighty is the only subject of discussion in the Vedas. But due to innumerable varieties of desires and nature of human mind people find various meanings in the texts of the Vedas. In Bhagavata, Lord Krishna said that when people’s sense, mind and intelligence are influenced by various kinds of desires they find various meanings in the Vedic texts according to the nature of their desires and accept those meanings which suit their own interests. Then based on their own feelings some theistic philosophies are developed and handed down to later generations in the name of tradition, custom , succession etc.  On the basis of those philosophies different opinions are formed in the minds of different people regarding the highest goal of human life and the ways of attainment of that goal. Accordingly some people think that pious religious activities are the ways of attaining the highest goal of human life. In a similar way different classes of people  consider  fame, sensual pleasure, truthfulness, self control, peace, protection of  self-interest,  prosperity, renunciation, sacrifice, penance, charity, vows,  strict disciplinary regulation etc  as the prime goal of human life. In this way so many religious doctrines are developed by different people with their own meaning of the Vedic texts. The followers and preachers of those doctrines motivate common people towards achievement of those goals in their lives in the name of spiritual practice. Common people are not able to understand those critical philosophies. They simply follow some preachers of their choice and start their religious practice and lead their life style as advised by them. Guru Harideva studied all these things very carefully. He realized that without knowledge of the Absolute Truth, many so-called learned people wrongly guided common ignorant  people in regard to  the ultimate goal of human life. Guru Harideva was aware of the fact that unless people realize his own self he cannot understand the unity behind the  verities presented in the Vedas and Vedic scriptures. After self realization only one can realize that only one ultimate truth is described in the Vedas and realization of that Ultimate Truth is the ultimate goal of human life. Guru Harideva designed his educational institution to lead common people towards that ultimate goal. (to be continued)

ইয়াৰ আগৰ লিখনিটোত কোৱা হৈছে যে সমগ্ৰ বেদত কেৱল মাত্ৰ এক পৰমেশ্বৰৰ কথা বৰ্ণনা কৰা হৈছে। কিন্তু বিভিন্ন মানুহৰ মনৰ স্বভাৱ আৰু আশা-আকাংক্ষা অসংখ্য প্ৰকাৰৰ হোৱা হেতুকে  মানুহে বেদবাণীৰ বিভিন্ন ধৰণৰ অৰ্থ বিচাৰি পায়।ভাগৱতত ভগৱান কৃষ্ণই উদ্ধৱক কৈছে যে যেতিয়া মানুহৰ মন ,বুদ্ধি আৰু ইন্দ্ৰিয় বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ কামনা বাসনাৰ বশীভূত হয় তেতিয়া মানুহে সেই কামনা বাসনাৰ চৰিত্ৰ অনুসৰি বেদবাণীৰ অৰ্থ বিচাৰ কৰে আৰু যি অৰ্থ গ্ৰহণ কৰিলে নিজৰ স্বাৰ্থ ৰক্ষা হয় সেই অৰ্থকে গ্ৰহণ কৰে ।তাৰ পিছত তেওঁলোকে নিজে বিচাৰি পোৱা বেদৰ অৰ্থ অনুসৰি বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ আধ্যাত্মিক মতবাদ  উদ্ভাৱন কৰে আৰু সেই মতবাদকে  নিয়ম ,পৰম্পৰা, উত্তৰাধিকাৰ আদি নাম দি পিছৰ প্ৰজন্মৰ লোকলৈ হস্তান্তৰ কৰে । পিছৰ কালৰ লোক সকলে সেইসমুহ মতবাদৰ ওপৰত ভিত্তি কৰি মানৱ জীৱনৰ উচ্চতম লক্ষ্য সম্পৰ্কে বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ মত পোষণ কৰে।সেই অনুসৰি কিছুমান লোকে ভাবে যে সদায় পবিত্ৰ ধৰ্মীয় কাৰ্যত  লিপ্ত হৈ থাকিলে মানৱ জীৱনৰ উচ্চতম লক্ষ্যত উপনীত হ’ব পাৰি।  একেদৰে যশস্যা , ইন্দ্ৰিয় উপভোগ , সত্য ,ইন্দ্ৰিয় দমন,ঐশ্বৰ্য প্ৰাপ্তি ,ত্যাগ , নিজৰ স্বাৰ্থৰ সুৰক্ষা , যজ্ঞ , তপ ,দান ,ব্ৰত , সংযম ,নিয়ম ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন বিষয় বিভিন্ন লোকে মানৱ জীৱনৰ পৰম পুৰুষাৰ্থৰ বুলি বিশ্বাস কৰে। কিছুমান লোকে নিজৰ নিজৰ বেদজ্ঞানৰ ওপৰত ভিত্তি কৰি এনেদৰে সৃষ্টি কৰা মতবাদ সমুহৰ অনুগামী আৰু প্ৰচাৰক সকলে তেওঁলোকৰ মতবাদৰ প্ৰতি সাধাৰণ মানুহক আকৃষ্ট কৰাৰ চেষ্টা কৰে।সাধাৰণ মানুহে এনে জটিল মতবাদ বুজি নাপায় । তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ সুবিধা অনুসৰি নিজৰ পচণ্ডৰ প্ৰচাৰকৰ পৰা উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ কৰি সেই অনুসৰি পাৰমাৰ্থিক চৰ্চা কৰে আৰু তাৰ আনুষঙ্গিক নীতি নিয়ম মতে জীৱন যাত্ৰা নিৰ্বাহ কৰে । হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই এই  সমস্ত বিষয় গভীৰভাৱে অধ্যয়ন কৰিছিল । তেওঁ ভালদৰে বুজি পাইছিল যে পৰম সত্য কি তাক নজনা এচাম তথাকথিত শিক্ষিত লোকে নিজৰ সীমিত আৰু ভ্ৰমাত্মক বিচাৰ বুদ্ধিমতে বেদৰ অৰ্থ উদ্ভাৱন কৰি  বিচাৰ বুদ্ধিহীন অজ্ঞানী জনসাধাৰণক জীৱনৰ মূল লক্ষ্য সম্পৰ্কে ভুল দিশত পৰিচালিত কৰে । হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই উপলব্ধি কৰিছিল যে যেতিয়ালৈকে মানুহে নিজৰ আত্মাক উপলব্ধি কৰিব নোৱাৰে তেতিয়ালৈকে বেদত বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰে  একমাত্ৰ পৰমেশ্বৰক  নিৰ্দেশ কৰা হৈছে বুলি জনা  আৰু সেই একক পৰম সত্য উপলব্ধি কৰাই মানৱ জীৱনৰ পৰম লক্ষ্য বুলি বুজি পোৱা সম্ভৱ নহয়। সাধাৰণ জনতাক এই শুদ্ধ জ্ঞান দি মানৱ জীৱনৰ পৰম লক্ষ্যৰ পিনে আগ বঢ়াই নিয়াৰ উদ্দেশ্যে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই বিশেষ শিক্ষানুষ্ঠান স্থাপন কৰিছিল্।(আগলৈ)
