The raft, on which Guru Harideva and his party  traveled, was moving safely towards the downstream of the river Brahmaputra. The navigation of the raft was under the control of Dwija Gobinda. The passengers used to stop on the bank of the river as and when needed. Their needs for food were fulfilled with food items provided by the people of Malipara. The Ascetic moving with them also shared some food items available with him. Day by day the raft was nearing the sea, that is, the Bay of Bengal. Then, one day the old ascetic, who was sitting as a silent spectator so long, advised Guru Harideva to hand over the control of the raft to him. We already told that the ascetic was of very old age and was physically weak. Moreover, he was given the status of a guest by Guru Harideva. Under the circumstances, Guru Harideva did not agree with his proposal. Then the ascetic tried to convince Guru Harideva by saying that the raft was going to reach the sea within a short time. It is not possible to control a raft in the sea waves by an ordinary human being like Dwija Gobinda. People like him only can make a man able to cross the turbulent sea with the help of very poor equipment like an ordinary raft and for that purpose only he was travelling on the raft. So, at this critical time, Guru Harideva should keep full faith in Him without any hesitation and relax. Hearing such speech of the ascetic, Guru Harideva sensed the presence of the divine power accompanying him for his guidance in the form the ascetic. He immediately asked Dwija Gobinda to hand over the controlling tool of the raft to the ascetic and relax. After taking over the command of the raft, the ascetic made arrangements to tie up Guru Harideva and Gobinda with the fixtures of the raft and also made arrangements for the safety of Subhadra. After that, the raft reached the sea. Guru Harideva and his associates gradually fell asleep or rather became unconscious after seeing the high waves and gorgeous roars of the turbulent sea. They waked up from deep sleep when the ascetic called them after reaching the seashore of Puri. Then the old ascetic took them to the house of the principal priest of Jagannatha temple and requested him to extend special help to this group of pilgrims and thereafter he suddenly left the place. Considering all these happenings people still believe that Guru Harideva was a person of a totally pure heart. He took the vow of pilgrimage with due compliance of all scriptural injunctions as described in our preceding post and with full faith on God. So Lord Jagannatha came for his help in the disguise of an old ascetic and cleared the obstacles that appeared in the path of reaching him. (to be continued)

হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনা আৰু তেওঁৰ সঙ্গীসকল উঠি যোৱা ভেলখন নিৰাপদে ভটিয়াই গৈ আছিল । ভেলৰ নিয়ন্ত্ৰণৰ দায়িত্বত আছিল দ্বিজ গোবিন্দ । মাজে মাজে নদীৰ পাৰত ৰৈ তেওঁলোকে জিৰণী লৈছিল আৰু নিত্য কৰ্ম আদি সমাপ্ত কৰিছিল ।তেওঁলোকে মালীপাৰাৰ ৰাইজে দিয়া খাদ্যবস্তুৰে যৎসামান্য আহাৰ কৰিছিল। সন্ন্যাসীজনৰ লগত থকা সামান্য পৰিমাণৰ খাদ্যবস্তুৰ ভাগো তেওঁলোকে পাইছিল। এনেদৰে ভেলখন ক্ৰমান্বয়ে সমুদ্ৰ অৰ্থাৎ, বঙ্গোপসাগৰৰ ওচৰ পাইছিল । তেনে এটা সময়ত ইমানদিনে নিৰৱে ভেলত বহি আলেখ লেখ চাই থকা বৃদ্ধ সাধুজনে ভেলখন নিয়ন্ত্ৰণ কৰাৰ দায়িত্ব তেওঁৰ হাতত দিয়াৰ বাবে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাক উপদেশ দিছিল । আগতে কোৱা হৈছে যে সন্ন্যাসীজন অতি বৃদ্ধ আৰু শাৰীৰিকভাৱে দুৰ্বল আছিল। তদুপৰি গুৰুজনাই অতিথিৰ মৰ্যাদা দি তেওঁক ভেলখনত লৈ আহিছিল । তেনে অৱস্থাত ভেল নিয়ন্ত্ৰণৰ দৰে গধুৰ দায়িত্বৰ বোজা সন্ন্যাসীৰ হাতত দিবলৈ গুৰুজনা অমান্তি হৈছিল । তেতিয়া সন্ন্যাসীজনে গুৰুজনাক বুজনি দি কৈছিল যে ভেলখন সমুদ্ৰ গৈ পোৱাৰ সময় সমাগত হৈছে ।দ্বিজ গোবিন্দৰ দৰে সাধাৰণ ব্যক্তিৰ পক্ষে সাগৰৰ ঢৌৰ মাজত ভেল নিয়ন্ত্ৰণ কৰা অসম্ভৱ কথা । কেৱল তেওঁৰ দৰে ব্যক্তিয়েহে ভেলৰ দৰে অতি ক্ষুদ্ৰ সা-সৰঞ্জামৰ সহায়ত মনুহক গভীৰ সমুদ্ৰ পাৰ কৰাব পাৰে । গুৰুজনা আৰু সঙ্গীসকলক সমুদ্ৰ পাৰ কৰি দিয়াৰ উদ্দেশ্য লৈয়ে তেওঁ ভেলখনত উঠি আহিছে । গতিকে ভেলৰ নিয়ন্ত্ৰণ ভাৰ তেওঁৰ হাতত অৰ্পণ কৰি গুৰুজনা আৰু সঙ্গীসকলে নিশ্চিন্ত মনে বিশ্ৰাম কৰা উচিত । সন্ন্যাসীজনৰ এই বক্তব্য শুনাৰ পিছত গুৰুজনাই বুজি পাইছিল যে বৃদ্ধ সন্ন্যাসীৰ ৰূপত এক ঐশ্বৰিক শক্তি যাত্ৰাপথত সহায় কৰাৰ বাবে তেওঁৰ সঙ্গী হৈ আছে। তেওঁ তৎক্ষণাত ভেল নিয়ন্ত্ৰণ কৰা সা-সজুলি সন্ন্যাসীৰ হাতত তুলি দি দ্বিজ গোবিন্দক বিশ্ৰাম লোৱাৰ উপদেশ দিছিল ।ভেলৰ নিয়ন্ত্ৰণৰ দায়িত্ব লৈয়ে সন্ন্যাসীজনে ভেলৰ খুঁটিৰ সৈতে গুৰুজনা আৰু গোবিন্দক বান্ধি দিয়াৰ লগতে ভনীয়েক সুভদ্ৰাৰ বাবেও উপযুক্ত নিৰাপত্তাৰ ব্যৱস্থা গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল আৰু সকলোকে নিশ্চিন্ত হৈ থাকিবলৈ উপদেশ দিছিল । তাৰ পিছতে ভেলখন সমুদ্ৰ আহি পাইছিল।লাহে লাহে গুৰুজনা, গোবিন্দ আৰু সুভদ্ৰাৰ গভীৰ টোপনি আহিছিল অথবা সমুদ্ৰৰ সু উচ্চ ঢৌ দেখি আৰু গভীৰ গৰ্জন শুনি সকলো অচেতন হৈছিল । ভেল আহি পুৰীৰ সমুদ্ৰতীৰত উপস্থিত হোৱাৰ পিছতহে বৃদ্ধ্ব সন্ন্যাসীৰ মাত শুনি তেওঁলোক তিনিওজনে সাৰ পাইছিল। তাৰ পিছত সন্ন্যাসীজনে গুৰুজনা আৰু সঙ্গীসকলক লৈ জগন্নাথ মন্দিৰৰ প্ৰধান পুৰোহিতৰ ঘৰলৈ গৈছিল আৰু যাত্ৰ্ৰী সকলক সকলো প্ৰকাৰে সহায় কৰাৰ বাবে তেওঁক অনুৰোধ জনাই তাৰ পৰা হঠাত আঁতৰি গৈছিল। এই ঘটনাৰ আলম লৈ মানুহে আজিও বিশ্বাস কৰি আহিছে যে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ অন্তঃকৰণ অতি নিৰ্মল আছিল । তেওঁ আমি আগৰ লিখনিত উল্লেখ কৰা ধৰণে সমস্ত শাস্ত্ৰীয় নীতি নিয়ম শ্ৰদ্ধাৰে পালন কৰি আৰু ভগৱানৰ ওপৰত গভীৰ বিশ্বাস ৰাখি তীৰ্থ ভ্ৰমণ কৰিছিল । সেই কাৰণে ভগৱান জগন্নাথে নিজে বৃদ্ধ সন্ন্যাসীৰ বেশত তেওঁক সহায় কৰিবলৈ আগবাঢ়ি আহিছিল আৰু পথৰ সকলো বাধা দূৰ কৰি গুৰুজনাক তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ লৈ গৈছিল ।(আগলৈ)
