Understanding Guru Harideva’s Approach Towards Unity-120 (একতাৰ অনুসন্ধান সম্পৰ্কত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গী বুজাৰ প্ৰয়াস-১২০)

In the preceding post we described the situation under which Guru Harideva had to run away from Narayanpur. This incident taught him the most important lesson of life. Practically this was the turning point of his life. From this point, his journey of transformation from a human to a superhuman or from a common Purusha to a Mahapurusha started. At that time, Guru Harideva was of tender age and he failed in his mission of educating common people due to lack of experience. But his interactions with the general public on that occasion and the subsequent developments brought to is mind a clear picture about his future course of action.  This experience made him determined to gain sufficient strength for overcoming all difficulties and do something for those suffering human beings. Keeping this in mind, he traveled all over North India and studied in details all the factors related to education of common people and the procedure followed by different spiritual teachers or Gurus of different places in this regard. He attained formal education in the Vedas and Vedic Philosophy from competent teachers of Kashi to make himself conversant with the original source of the scriptural knowledge. He studied the original version of Bhagavata for  five years at Jagannath Temple of Puri for attainment of profound knowledge of Bhagavata. He experimented with the methods of practical application of the knowledge contained in Bhagavata for the benefit of common people. He practiced Yoga and did so many other things and became competent in all respect to be a spiritual teacher or Guru of all people. Bhagavta and Bhagavdgita tell that when all the worldly distinctions vanish from the eyes of a human being , he is transformed to  a super human being. Such a person is non envious even of his enemies. He does not desire ill fortune for anyone. He does not expect honor from anybody. Such a person can do whatever he wills.  Nobody can envy, do harm or resist the will power of such super human being in any way. In Bhagavata or other scriptures we get descriptions of this type Sages and Spiritual practitioners. Guru Harideva performed rigorous spiritual practice or sadhana for ten years as described above. As, a result of that he earned all those qualities of a Mahapurusha or a superhuman being. Then he decided to come back to Assam and restart his mission. (to be continued)

কেনেকুৱা পৰিস্থিতিত পৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই নাৰয়ণপুৰৰ পৰা পলাই যাবলৈ বাধ্য হৈছিল তাক ইয়াৰ আগৰ লিখনিটোত কৈ অহা হৈছে । এই ঘটনাৰ মাধ্যমত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই জীৱনৰ সবাতোকৈ মূল্যৱান পাঠ শিকিছিল। প্ৰকৃতাৰ্থত এই ঘটনাই গুৰুজনাৰ জীৱনৰ দিশ নিৰ্ণয় কৰিছিল। এইখিনিৰ পৰাই হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই সাধাৰণ মানুহৰ পৰা মহাপুৰুষৰ পৰ্যায়লৈ উত্তৰণৰ যাত্ৰা আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল। সেই সময়ত বয়স আৰু অভিজ্ঞতা কম থকা কাৰণে জনসাধাৰণক পাৰমাৰ্থিক শিক্ষা দিয়াত গুৰুজনা ব্যৰ্থ হৈছিল। কিন্তু নিজৰ সেই চেষ্টাৰ ফলত তেওঁ জন সাধাৰণৰ জীৱনৰ দুখ কষ্টৰ কথা অনুভৱ কৰিছিল। সেই অনুভূতি আৰু তাৰ পৰবৰ্ত্তী পৰ্যায়ত ঘটা ঘটনা সমুহৰ অভিজ্ঞতাৰ পৰাই তেওঁ নিজে ভৱিষ্যৎ জীৱনত কি কৰা উচিত তাক নিৰ্ধাৰণ কৰি লৈছিল। এই দুখজনক অভিজ্ঞতাই যথোপযুক্ত শক্তি আহৰণ কৰিবৰ বাবে তেওঁক দৃঢ়প্ৰতিজ্ঞ কৰি তুলিছিল। নতুন শক্তিৰে সকলো বাধা বিপত্তি নেওচি জনসাধাৰণক সেৱা কৰাৰ বাবে তেওঁক সকিয়াই দিছিল। এই অভিজ্ঞতাৰ কথা মনত ৰাখিয়ে তেওঁ সমগ্ৰ উত্তৰ ভাৰতৰ সকলো তীৰ্থ স্থান ভ্ৰমণ কৰি বিভিন্ন স্থানৰ বিভিন্ন ধৰ্মগুৰু সকলে সাধাৰণ জনতাক কিদৰে আদৰ্শ সাংসাৰিক জীৱন যাপনৰ শিক্ষা দিয়াৰ লগতে পাৰমাৰ্থিক জ্ঞান দান কৰে তাক লক্ষ্য কৰিছিল। শাস্ত্ৰসমুহৰ মূল উৎপত্তিৰ বিষয়ে জানি শাস্ত্ৰীয় জ্ঞানৰ গভীৰতালৈ যাবৰ বাবে কাশীত উপযুক্ত গুৰুৰ অধীনত বেদ আৰু বৈদিক দৰ্শনৰ আনুষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষা গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল। সুদীৰ্ঘ পাঁচ বছৰ কাল পুৰীৰ জগন্নাথ মন্দিৰত মূল ভাগৱত অধ্যয়্ন কৰি ভগৱতৰ গভীৰ জ্ঞান আহৰণ কৰিছিল। এই জ্ঞান কিদৰে জনসাধাৰণৰ উপকাৰত আহিব পাৰে তাৰ ব্যৱহাৰিক পৰীক্ষা নিৰীক্ষা কৰিছিল। যোগ সাধনাকে ধৰি সাধাৰণ জনতাৰ পাৰমাৰ্থিক শিক্ষক বা গুৰু হোৱাৰ বাবে উপযোগী সকলো বিদ্যা, গুণ আৰু শক্তি আহৰণ কৰাৰ অভ্যাস কৰিছিল। ভাগৱতে কৈছে যে পুৰুষে যেতিয়া সকলো প্ৰাণীৰ প্ৰতি অমঙ্গল ভাৱ অৰ্থাৎ ৰাগ–দ্বেষ আদি বৈষম্য ভাৱ পৰিত্যাগ কৰি সকলোৰে প্ৰতি সমদৃষ্টি সম্পন্ন হয় তেতিয়া তেওঁ মহাপুৰুষত পৰিণত হয়। তেনে ব্যক্তিয়ে কাৰো, আনকি নিজৰ ঘোৰ শত্ৰুৰো কোনো প্ৰকাৰৰ অমঙ্গল চিন্তা নকৰে । তেওঁ কাৰো পৰা কোনো সন্মানো আশা নকৰে। তেনে পুৰুষ সকলোৰে প্ৰিয় হয়, কোনেও তেনে ব্যক্তিৰ ইচ্ছা শক্তিক বাধা দি ৰাখিব নোৱাৰে আৰু  কোনেও তেওঁৰ সৈতে শত্ৰুতা আচৰণ কৰা সম্ভৱ নহয় । ভাগৱত আৰু অন্যান্য শাস্ত্ৰত এনেকুৱা উচ্চ পৰ্যায়ৰ অনেক সাধক তথা ঋষি মুনিৰ বিৱৰণ আছে। সুদীৰ্ঘ দহ বছৰ কাল  কঠোৰ সাধনা কৰাৰ অন্তত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই এনে প্ৰকাৰৰ পাৰমৰ্থিক অতিমানবীয় শক্তি বা মহাপুৰুষ সুলভ শক্তি আৰু গুণ গৰিমাৰ অধিকাৰী হৈছিল। তাৰ পিছত  তেওঁ পুনৰ সাধাৰণ জনতাৰ সেৱাত নিজকে উছৰ্গা কৰাৰ অৰ্থে অসমলৈ ঘুৰি অহাৰ  সিদ্ধান্ত লৈছিল । (আগলৈ)
