Understanding Guru Harideva’s Approach Towards Unity-87 (একতাৰ অনুসন্ধান সম্পৰ্কত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গী বুজাৰ প্ৰয়াস-৮৭)

Dwija Ajanabha and his ancestors were devotees of Lord Vishnu, that is, they were Vaishnavas. Dwija Narrottama, the forefather of Ajanabha, had performed Mahavishnu Yajna, that is, a Vedic Sacrifice to satisfy Lord Vishnu, arranged by the king of Kashi in the 7^th century CE. Deity of Lakshmi Narayana, a form of Lord Vishnu, was the deity of their daily worship. Harideva was taught by his father that, Hari, that is, another name of Lord Vishnu, can be  realized only after self realization. These things are already mentioned in our earlier posts. Now, we should discuss about another religious practice frequently performed by Dwija Ajanabha and his ancestors. That was, recitation of Vishnu Sahasranama, a scripture that contains thousand names of Lord Vishnu. In Vedic Scriptures , Lord Vishnu is said to be the all pervading supreme being. He is the master of the whole creation and the essence of everything in the creation and beyond. He is the ultimate truth or Param Brahma. Everything animate or inanimate resides in him and he in turn resides in everything in the creation. In Veda itself, it is told that one, who utters the name of Vishnu with steadfast faith, can easily attain  self realization. This Vishnu Sahasranama contains a list of 1000 names of Lord Vishnu. It is also told that each one of the name of Visnu listed here, describes 100 attributes of Lord Vishnu. Thus this scripture explains   unimaginable vastness of Lord Vishnu. To understand this point, we can take the example of a  person named Hari,  well known to us.  Now, if  somehow his name comes to our mind , then a picture of his size , color , manners ,family details , profession , character , state of health and all such things related to him and known to us come to our mind. This is the expansion of the name of the concerned person. But things unknown about a person does not come to our mind with his name. Thus, a single name can not give us idea of everything about a common man with limited activities and even supposed to be well known to us also . In this way, we can easily understand that the scripture, ‘Vishnu Sahasranama’ by describing Lord Vishnu with thousand names gives us an idea about the all pervading vastness, unimaginable strength and incomparable knowledge of Lord Vishnu or the ultimate truth or God Almighty. দ্বিজ অজনাভ আৰু তেওঁৰ পিতৃপুৰুষ সকল ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ ভক্ত অৰ্থাৎ বৈষ্ণৱ আছিল । অজনাভৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষ দ্বিজ নৰোত্তমে সপ্তম শতিকাত কাশীৰাজে আয়োজন কৰা মহাবিষ্ণু যজ্ঞ সম্পাদন কৰিছিল । বিষ্ণুৰ অন্য এক ৰূপ, লক্ষীনাৰায়ণ বিগ্ৰহৰ পূজা সেৱা অজনাভৰ পৰিয়ালত নিতৌ  কৰা হৈছিল । অজনাভে পুত্ৰ হৰিদেৱক দিয়া উপদেশত কৈছিল যে আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ কৰাৰ পিছতহে হৰিক দৰ্শন অৰ্থাৎ সাক্ষাৎ উপলব্ধি পাৰি। শ্ৰীহৰি ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰে অন্য এক নাম ।এইবিলাক কথা আগৰ লিখনিসমুহত কৈ অহা হৈছে । এতিয়া আমি দ্বিজ অজনাভ আৰু তেওঁৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষ সকলে সঘনাই পালন কৰা অন্য এক ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানৰ কথা ক’ব খুজিছো। এই অনুষ্ঠান হৈছে বিষ্ণু সহস্ৰ নাম শাস্ত্ৰ, অৰ্থাৎ ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ এহেজাৰ নামযুক্ত স্তোত্ৰৰ পাঠ । বেদ অৰু বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰ সমুহত ভগৱান বিষ্ণুক সৰ্বব্যাপ্ত আৰু সৰ্বশক্তিমান দেৱতা বুলি কোৱা হৈছে । বিষ্ণু সমস্ত সৃষ্টিৰ সকলোৰে ঈশ্বৰ বা সৰ্বেশ্বৰ, জগতৰ সকলো বস্তুৰ ভিতৰত আৰু জগতৰ উৰ্দ্ধত থকা  একমাত্ৰ সাৰ বস্তু বা আত্মা ।ভগৱান বিষ্ণু পৰম সত্য বা পৰম ব্ৰহ্ম । সৃষ্টিৰ স্থাৱৰ জঙ্গম সমস্তৰে ভিতৰত ভগৱান বিষ্ণু অৱস্থান কৰি আছে আৰু একেদৰে জগতৰ সমস্ত স্থাৱৰ জঙ্গমো ভগৱান বিষ্ণুতে অৱস্থান কৰি আছে । বেদতে কোৱা হৈছে যে পৰম নিষ্ঠা আৰু অটল বিশ্বাস সহ ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ নাম উচ্চাৰণ কৰিলে অচিৰে আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ হয় । এই বিষ্ণু সহস্ৰ নাম শাস্ত্ৰত ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ এহেজাৰ নাম তালিকাভুক্ত হৈ আছে। শাস্ত্ৰত কোৱা হৈছে যে বিষ্ণুৰ যি এহেজাৰ নাম ইয়াত দিয়া হৈছে তাৰ  প্ৰত্যেকটো  নামৰ দ্বাৰা ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ এশটাকৈ গুণ বা বিশেষণ ব্যক্ত কৰা হৈছে । এনেদৰে চালে দেখা যায় যে এই শাস্ত্ৰৰ দ্বাৰা ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ সীমাহীন বিস্তাৰ বা ব্যপ্ততা প্ৰকাশ কৰা হৈছে । কথাখিনি বুজাৰ বাবে আমি আমাৰ অতি ঘনিষ্ঠ হৰি নামৰ এজন ব্যক্তিৰ উদাহৰণ ল’ব পাৰো। এতিয়া , এই ব্যক্তিজনৰ নামটো কিবা প্ৰকাৰে আমাৰ মনলৈ অহাৰ লগে লগে তেওঁৰ চেহেৰা, চাল চলন ,পৰিয়ালৰ সবিশেষ , জীৱিকা ,স্বাস্থ্যপাতি আৰু অন্যান্য সমস্তৰে ছৱি আমাৰ মনলৈ আহে । ই হৈছে মানুহজনৰ নামটোৰ ব্যপ্ততা । কিন্তু ইয়াতো মানুহজনৰ বিষয়ে যি কথা আমি আগৰ পৰা নাজানো, তাৰ ছৱি আমাৰ মনলৈ নাহে । অৰ্থাৎ কেৱল এটা নামৰ দ্বাৰা আমি আমাৰ একেবাৰে ঘনিষ্ঠ আৰু সাধাৰণ কাম কৰি থকা অতি সাধাৰণ ব্যক্তি এজনৰ বিষয়েও সকলো কথা জনা সম্ভৱ নহয় । ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰা সহজে বুজিব পাৰি যে বিষ্ণু সহস্ৰ নাম শাস্ত্ৰত এহেজাৰ নামৰ দ্বাৰা বৰ্ণনা কৰি ভগৱান বিষ্ণু বা পৰম সত্য বা পৰমেশ্বৰৰ সীমাহীন বিস্তৃতি , অসীম শক্তি আৰু সীমাহীন জ্ঞানৰ বিষয়ে কোৱা হৈছে । (আগলৈ )
