Guru Harideva suggested that, a Guru or great teacher of mankind should be totally free from any kind of desire. Desires make a person incomplete. Such persons always have some tendency to make them complete through fulfillment of their desires.They work hard to achieve this and become successful in their efforts. Common people appreciate those successful persons and use to follow their path.Like that,  a man not having self realization but successful in fulfillment of  desire,  may become a teacher of common people. Now ,if a person with desire in his mind works as a teacher, he will teach his followers the way of fulfillment of desires only .Desires of people have no end. If one desire is fulfilled another desire comes. Thus necessity arises again to get fresh knowledge to work for fulfillment of that new desire. So this process of acquiring knowledge for fulfillment of desires can never come to an end . On the other hand, a self realized person is totally desire-free and complete personality .So, he  teaches people how to become desire-less and complete. Once desires gone, self realization comes and the process of learning ends there. Now, a question may arise .  That is, if a person is free from desire, why he will work? Will he sit idle?  The scriptures answer this question like this . Our body has got respiratory system , blood circulation system , digestive system. immune system etc etc. Those systems work day and night for protection of our body. Do we think for a moment to find out the motivation behind it? Without the charities of the sun , moon , water , fire , air etc we can not live in this world . Can we find any motivation behind these? Trees are giving fruits and maintain the climatic condition suitable for our living. A person engaged in cutting the tree is also not deprived of its shadow and fruit. During cutting of the tree also, he can enjoy the taste of fruits and relax under the shadow of the same tree. Can we find any motivation behind it? Scriptures tell us that self realized persons are very active and they do their works like this. So, Guru Harideva suggested that for the welfare of mankind, there is no greater teacher than a self realized person.(to be continued)

হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে মানৱ সমাজৰ গুৰু বা মহান শিক্ষক সকল কামনা বাসনাৰ পৰা সম্পূৰ্ণ মুক্ত হ’ব লাগে। আশা আকাংক্ষা থকা লোক পূৰ্ণতা প্ৰাপ্ত নহয়।  তেওঁলোকে কামনা বাসনাসমুহ পূৰণ হোৱৰ পিছ্ত পূৰ্ণতা লাভ কৰিব পাৰে বুলি ভ্ৰান্ত বিশ্বাস পোষণ কৰে ।কঠোৰ পৰিশ্ৰমৰ বিনিময়ত তেওঁলোকে বাসনা পূৰণৰ প্ৰচেষ্টাত সফলো হয়। সাধাৰণ মানুহে তেওঁলোকৰ এই সফলতাক প্ৰশংসা কৰে আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ পথ অনুসৰণ কৰাৰ চেষ্টা কৰে ।এনেদৰে বৈষয়িক দিশত সফল আত্মজ্ঞানহীন ব্যক্তিও সাধাৰণ মানুহৰ বাবে গুৰুৰ আসনত প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত হয়। এনে প্ৰকাৰৰ গুৰু বা শিক্ষকে কেৱল কিদৰে কামনা বাসনাসমুহ পূৰণ কৰিব পাৰি তাৰে শিক্ষা দিব পাৰে । কিন্তু মানুহৰ আশা আকাঙ্ক্ষাৰ কোনো শেষ নাই । এটা আশা পূৰণ হোৱাৰ লগে লগে অন্য এটা আহি পৰে । এই নতুন আশা পূৰণৰ অৰ্থে কৰাৰ বাবে অন্য এজন শিক্ষকৰ পৰা নতুন জ্ঞান আহৰণ কৰাৰ প্ৰয়োজন হয় । এনেদৰে দেখা যায় যে কামনা বাসনা পূৰণৰ বাবে কৰা জ্ঞান আহৰণৰ প্ৰচেষ্টা আৰু কাম কেতিয়াও শেষ নহয় ।আনহাতে আত্মজ্ঞানী লোক কামনা বাসনাৰ পৰা মুক্ত পূৰ্ণব্যক্তিত্ব সম্পন্ন পুৰুষ । কামনা বাসনাৰ পৰা মুক্ত হৈ কিদৰে পূৰ্ণ মানৱ হ’ব পাৰি তাৰ শিক্ষা দিয়াটো তেওঁলোকৰ জীৱনৰ ব্ৰত । আশা আকাঙ্ক্ষাৰ অন্ত হোৱা মানেই আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ কৰা। তাৰ লগে লগে শিক্ষা গ্ৰহণো সমাপ্ত হয় । ইয়াতে প্ৰশ্ন হ’ব পাৰে যে আশা আকাংক্ষা নাথাকিলে মানুহে কি উদ্দেশ্য লৈ কাম কৰিব ?তেওঁ নিষ্কৰ্মা হৈ বহি থাকিব নেকি ? শাস্ত্ৰত ইয়াৰ উত্তৰ এনেদৰে দিয়া হৈছে । আমাৰ শৰীৰত উশাহ নিশাহ, তেজ চলাচল ,খাদ্য পৰিপাক, ৰোগ প্ৰতিৰোধ ইত্যাদিৰ বাবে অনেক কাৰ্যপ্ৰণালী আছে । এইসমুহে অহৰহ কাম কৰি আমাৰ শৰীৰটো ৰক্ষা কৰি আছে ।  এই সমুহ কামৰ অন্তৰালত কাৰ কি  উদ্দেশ্য থাকিব পাৰে আমি কেতিয়াবা ভাৱি চাওনে ?চন্দ্ৰ ,সূৰ্য , বতাহ , পানী ,জুই ইত্যাদিৰ অবদান অবিহনে আমি জীয়াই থাকিব নোৱাৰো ।এই বিলাক মহান কামৰ অন্তৰালত কাৰ কি উদ্দেশ্য থাকিব পাৰে? গছে আমাক ফল মূল দিয়ে, পৰিবেশ জীৱন ধাৰণৰ উপযোগী কৰি ৰাখে । এজোপা গছ কাটি থকা ব্যক্তিজনো সেই গছ্জোপাই কৰা উপকাৰৰ পৰা বঞ্চিত নহয় । সেই গছজোপাৰ ফলৰ সোৱাদ লৈ থকাৰ লগতে তাৰ  ছাঁতে জিৰাই গছ্জোপা কটি থাকিব পাৰে । ইয়াত গছজোপাৰ কি নিজা উদ্দেশ্য থাকিব পাৰে ? শাস্ত্ৰই কৈছে যে আত্মজ্ঞানী পুৰুষ অত্যন্ত কৰ্মশীল ব্যক্তি আৰু তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ কৰ্মসমুহ এনেদৰে কৰে । সেই কাৰণে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে মানৱ সমাজৰ মঙ্গলৰ বাবে আত্মজ্ঞানী পুৰুষতকৈ শ্ৰেষ্ঠতৰ শিক্ষক আন কোনো হ’ব নোৱাৰে। (আগলৈ)
