Understanding Guru Harideva’s Approach Towards Unity-17 (একতাৰ অনুসন্ধান সম্পৰ্কত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গী বুজাৰ প্ৰয়াস-১৭)

After going through the discussions in the previous posts, we can prepare a gist on the status of Bahari as follows. In old days, river Brahmaputra maintained the status of the place as a famous river port and trade center for several centuries. During that time, the place was known as Dantapur. Then the flood and erosion of the river destroyed the place and reduced it to Bahati, meaning a flowing or changing land. Again due to the generosity of the same river, the place became suitable for human habitation with all necessary potentialities as described in my post of 2.1.20. This change of state from Dantapur to Bahari took ,more or less, one century. But ,in spite of the abundant resources available there, people were afraid of coming there for permanent settlement. This was because of the domination of the area by antisocial elements . At that juncture, Guru Harideva came to that place in 1453 CE . He established his first Satra there with the help of those antisocial elements. Then at the initiative of Guru Harideva, some selected families with educational and cultural background were brought there from nearby habitations. Guru Harideva along with his associates extended all help for their permanent settlement near by the Satra. That was in the interest of well maintenance of the Satra . Those people were engaged in different duties of the Satra . Now with all those arrangements , Guru Harideva along with the said group of twelve antisocial people purified and trained by him, started the activities of the Satra Institution there . Gradually the message started spreading and reached people of different places. Many people were already interested to come there for permanent settlement because of the abundance of resources as described in my post of 2.1.20. So,  After getting the news of control of the antisocial elements by Guru Harideva, people from different places started coming  there for permanent settlement. They occupied the vacant lands surrounding the Satra for residential purpose. Thus a large habitation came up at Bahari surrounding the Satra within a year or two .(to be continued)

আমাৰ আগৰ লিখনিসমুহত কৰা আলোচনাৰ আঁত ধৰি আমি বহৰি সম্পৰ্কত  তলত দিয়া ধৰণৰ এটা সাৰাংশ প্ৰস্তুত কৰি ল’ব পাৰো ।এটা সময়ত ব্ৰহ্মপুত্ৰৰ বদান্যতাৰ ফলতে একেৰাহে কেইবা শতিকা ধৰি ঠাইখন এক বিখ্যাত নদীবন্দৰ তথা বাণিজ্য কেন্দ্ৰ হিচাপে বিখ্যাত আছিল । সেই কালছোৱাত ঠাইখন দন্তপুৰ নামেৰে পৰিচিত আছিল । ইয়াৰ পিছত বহ্মপুত্ৰৰ বান আৰু খহনীয়াৰ কৱলত ধ্বংসপ্ৰাপ্ত হৈ ঠাইখন বহতি অৰ্থাৎ বৈ থকা বা পৰিবৰ্ত্তন হৈ থকা ঠাইত পৰিণত হৈছিল। ইয়াৰ পিচত ব্ৰহ্মপুত্ৰৰ অৱদানৰ ফলতে ঠাইখন আমাৰ ২.১.২০ তাৰিখৰ লিখনিত কোৱাৰ দৰে সা-সম্পদেৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ এক আদৰ্শ জনবসতিৰূপে গঢ় লোৱাৰ উপযোগী হৈ উঠিছিল । দন্তপুৰ ধ্বংস হোৱাৰ পৰা এই অৱস্থা লাভ কৰালৈ প্ৰায় এক শতিকা লাগিছিল । কিন্তু বসতি স্থাপনৰ বাবে প্ৰয়োজনীয় সকলো সা-সুবিধা প্ৰচুৰ পৰিমাণে থকা বুলি জনাৰ পিচতো সমাজবিৰোধী দুষ্ট প্ৰকৃতিৰ লোকৰ ভয়ত মানুহে তাত বসতি স্থাপন কৰাৰ সাহস কৰা নাছিল । এনে পৰিস্থিতিৰ মাজতে ১৪৫৩খৃঃত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনা তাত উপস্থিত হৈছিল । গুৰুজনাই সেই সমাজবিৰোধী লোকসকলৰ সহায়তে তাত তেওঁৰ প্ৰথমখন সত্ৰ স্থাপন কৰিছিল । তাৰ পিছত গুৰুজনাৰ উদ্যোগতে ওচৰ পাজৰৰ জনবসতি সমুহৰ পৰা কেইটামান শিক্ষা সংস্কৃতি সম্পন্ন পৰিয়ালক সত্ৰৰ বিভিন্ন কাৰ্যত সহায় কৰাৰ বাবে তালৈ অনা হৈছিল । গুৰুজনা আৰু তেওঁৰ সঙ্গীসকলে সকলো প্ৰকাৰৰ সহায় সহযোগ কৰি তেওঁলোকক সত্ৰৰ ওচৰতে বসবাস কৰাৰ সুবিধা কৰি দিছিল । তেওঁলোকক সত্ৰৰ বিভিন্ন কাম কাজত নিযুক্ত কৰি গুৰুজনাৰ লগতে তেওঁৰ সান্নিধ্যত শুদ্ধ হৈ সত্ৰস্থাপনত আগভাগ লোৱা সেই বাৰজন পূৰ্বৰ সমাজবিৰোধী লোকে  সত্ৰৰ কাম কাজ সুচাৰু ৰূপে চলাই নিয়া আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল । লাহে লাহে এই সংবাদ চাৰিওফালে বিয়পি পৰা আৰম্ভ হৈছিল। আগৰ পৰা তাত বসতি স্থাপন কৰিব খোজা লোকসকলে গুৰুজনাই দস্যু প্ৰকৃতিৰ লোক সকলক দমন কৰি সত্ৰ স্থাপন কৰাৰ কথা শুনাৰ লগে লগে  বসতি স্থাপনৰ বাবে তালৈ অহা আৰম্ভ হৈছিল । তেওঁলোকে সত্ৰৰ চাৰিওপিনে থকা খালি ঠাইসমুহত বসতি স্থাপন কৰা আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল । এনেদৰে সত্ৰ স্থাপন কৰাৰ এবছৰ–দুবছৰৰ ভিতৰতে সত্ৰখনক কেন্দ্ৰ কৰি বহৰিত এক বৃহৎ জনবসতি স্থাপিত হৈছিল । (আগলৈ)
