Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva -32 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-৩২)

 

Guru Harideva tells that in this age of Kali, “Kirtana” or chanting of the names and glories of Lord Krishna is the best way of spiritual practice. In the Satya, Treta and Dvapara Yuga performance of severe spiritual practice is needed for attainment of spiritual perfection. But in the Kali Yuga the same result can be attained by simple spiritual practice of Kirtana. Guru Harideva tells that practice of  Dhyana or deep meditation for God realization is suggested for the people of Satya Yuga. For the same purpose the people of Treta Yuga are suggested to perform Vedic Sacrifices to satisfy Lord Vishnu. The people of Dwapara Yuga are advised to perform spiritual practice through worship of Lord Vishnu. On the other hand it is told to the people of Kali Yuga that if they satisfy Lord Krishna by performance of Kirtana then they can attain the benefits of meditation, sacrifices and worship as like as the people of the Satya, Treta and Dvapara Yuga. We can try to understand this point as follows.In Bhagavata and other Vedic Scriptures it is told that for keeping records of the unending time a measurement system called Yuga cycle or cycle of millenniums  is introduced  by the Vedic Sages . The Yuga cycle consisting of four Yugas called Satya , Treta , Dvapara and Kali progresses in cyclic order.  We see that with the changes in time the conditions of body and mind of human beings also change. For example, after taking birth as a baby we gradually become adolescent, young, middle aged, old and then die. With those changes of state our physical status, nature, habits and characteristics etc change. Due to influences of the changing time those changes occur in us. In a similar way due to influence of changing time the longevity, nature and characteristics etc of the people of the four Yugas become different. For that reason it is not possible for people of all the four Yugas to perform similar type of spiritual practice. We know that the normal work done by a child can not be the normal work for a young man. Also,  the work which can be easily done by a young man becomes  a hard work for an old man. Similarly, an easy and normal work for the people of one Yuga becomes hard and abnormal work for the people of another Yuga due to influence of the changes in time. Considering all those factors Guru Harideva tells that for the people of Kaliyuga Kirtana of the names and fames of Lord Krishna is the best way of spiritual practice. (to be continued)

হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে কলিযুগত ভগৱান কৃষ্ণৰ নাম-গুণ-মহিমাৰ কীৰ্ত্তন পৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনাৰ সৰ্বোত্তম উপায়। সত্য ,ত্ৰেতা আৰু দ্বাপৰ যুগত কষ্টসাধ্য  পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনাৰ দ্বাৰা যি ফল পোৱা যায় কীৰ্ত্তনৰ দৰে সহজ উপায় অৱলম্বন কৰি কলিকালত সেই একে ফল  লাভ কৰিব পাৰি । গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে শাস্ত্ৰত সত্য যুগৰ মানুহৰ বাবে ধ্যান বা গভীৰ চিন্তাৰ দ্বাৰা ঈশ্বৰ উপলব্ধি কৰাৰ চেষ্টা কৰাৰ বিধান দিয়া হৈছে । ত্ৰেতা যুগৰ মানুহক ভগৱান বিষ্ণুৰ সন্তুষ্টিৰ অৰ্থে বৃহৎ যাগ-যজ্ঞ অনুষ্ঠিত কৰি পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা কৰাৰ পৰামৰ্শ দিয়া হৈছে। দ্বাপৰ যুগৰ মানুহক পূজা-উপাসনাৰ জৰিয়তে ভগৱান বিষ্ণুক সন্তুষ্ট কৰাটোৱে পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনাৰ উপায় বুলি কোৱা হৈছে। আনহাতে কলি যুগৰ মানুহক কোৱা হৈছে যে সত্য যুগত ধ্যানৰ দ্বাৰা ,ত্ৰেতা যুগত যজ্ঞৰ দ্বাৰা আৰু দ্বাপৰ যুগত পূজাৰ দ্বাৰা ভগৱানক বিষ্ণুক উপাসনা কৰিলে যি ফল পোৱা যায় সেই একে ফল কলিযুগৰ মানুহে কৃষ্ণকথা কীৰ্ত্তনৰ দৰে সহজ উপায়ৰ দ্বাৰা পাব পাৰে । এই কথাখিনি আমি এনেদৰে বুজাৰ চেষ্টা কৰি চাব পাৰো। ভাগৱত আৰু অন্যান্য বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰত কোৱা হৈছে যে প্ৰাচীন ঋষিমুনিসকলে যুগচক্ৰৰ দ্বাৰা অনন্ত সময়ৰ হিচাপ ৰখাৰ ব্যৱস্থা প্ৰৱৰ্ত্তন কৰিছে ।সেই অনুসৰি সত্য , ত্ৰেতা ,দ্বাপৰ আৰু কলি এই চাৰিটা যুগ এটাৰ পিছত আনটো হিচাপে চক্ৰাকাৰে ঘুৰি থাকে । কালৰ পৰিবৰ্ত্তনৰ ফলত চাৰিটা যুগৰ মানুহৰ শৰীৰ মনৰো পৰিবৰ্ত্তন হয়্। উদাহৰণ স্বৰূপে শিশু অৱস্থাত জন্ম গ্ৰহণ কৰাৰ পিছত সময়ৰ গতিৰ লগে লগে আমি ক্ৰমন্বয়ে চেমনীয়া , যুৱক , প্ৰৌঢ় আৰু বৃদ্ধ্ব অৱস্থা লাভ কৰি মৃত্যুবৰণ কৰো। এই আটাইকেইটা অৱস্থাতে আমাৰ স্বভাৱ-চৰিত্ৰ ,আচাৰ-আচৰণৰো পৰিবৰ্ত্তন হয় ।কালৰ পৰিবৰ্ত্তনৰ প্ৰভাৱতে এনে পৰিবৰ্ত্তনসমুহ সংঘটিত হয়। একেদৰে কালৰ প্ৰভাৱবশতঃ চাৰিওটা যুগৰ মানুহৰ আয়ুস, স্বভাৱ-চৰিত্ৰ , আচাৰ-আচৰণো বেলেগ বেলেগ হয়। ইয়াৰ কাৰণে চাৰিওটা যুগৰ মানুহে একে ধৰণৰ কাম অথবা পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা কৰা সম্ভৱ নহয়। এটা শিশুৰ বাবে যি কাম স্বাভাৱিক এজন যুবকৰ  সেই একে কাম স্বাভাৱিক নহয়। এজন যুবকৰ বাবে যি কাম সহজ সেই একে কাম এজন বৃদ্ধ ব্যক্তিয়ে সহজে কৰিব নোৱাৰে। একেদৰে এটা যুগৰ মানুহৰ বাবে যি কাম সহজ আৰু স্বাভাৱিক অন্য এটা যুগৰ মানুহৰ বাবে সেই একে কাম কঠিন আৰু অস্বাভাৱিক। এই সকলো কথা বিবেচনা কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কলি কালৰ মানুহৰ বাবে ভগৱান কৃষ্ণৰ নাম-গুণ-মহিমাৰ কীৰ্ত্তন পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনাৰ সৰ্বশ্ৰেষ্ঠ উপায় বুলি কৈছে । (আগলৈ)
