Understanding Guru Harideva’s Approach Towards Unity-155 (একতাৰ অনুসন্ধান সম্পৰ্কত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গী বুজাৰ প্ৰয়াস-১৫৫)

 

In continuation of the preceding post, we should mention here about two very common persons named Haripal and Rampal of Kashi.  They were small vendors and they used   to come to the residence of Guru Harideva at Kashi every day with fruits, milk, vegetables and other items of day to day needs. Though they were people from lower cast in consideration of  the social system of 15^th cencetury CE, Guru Harideva liked them very much and used to mix up with them like his own family members. In view of the prevailing rules and regulation of the society of that time, this type of mixing up of a Brahmins scholar  with people of lower cast like Haripal and Rampal was beyond imagination . Haripal and Rampal were very much pleased with this type respectful behavior received by them from Guru Harideva. From their side also, they were respectful to Guru Harideva and used to maintain a very cordial and affectionate relationship with him.  After knowing about the preparation of Guru Harideva to leave Kashi, they did not agree to be separated from him. They found it to be better to leave their own place of living and move to Kamrupa with Guru Harideva rather than leaving his association. So, they requested Guru Harideva to take them to Kamrupa along with him.  In spite of repeated request from Guru Harideva to give up their idea they did not agree to leave his company. Ultimately Guru Harideva had to wait for a few days at Kashi to give them some time to settle their family matters before leaving their homes. Haripal and Rampal did it within very short time and got ready to move with Guru Harideva along with their wives and children. Finally the party took leave from Haralal Panda and his family with heavy hearts and started their journey towards Kamrupa via Puri. It can be mentioned here that Haripal and Rampal served Guru Harideva during their whole life . In Kamarupa, they used to stay with Guru Harideva like his shadow and extended their selfless services in the missionary works started there by Guru Harideva. With passage of time their families and later generation people completely ascimilated with the Assamese socity. Thus as a result of broad humanitarian look out of Guru Harideva, two families from  of Kashi with vast differences of language and culture became parts of   the greater  Assamese society. ইয়াৰ আগৰ লিখনিটোৰ সূত্ৰ ধৰি  এইখিনিতে কাশীৰ হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপাল নামৰ দুজন অতি সাধাৰণ ব্যক্তিৰ বিষয়ে অলপ কথা কোৱা প্ৰয়োজন। তেওঁলোক দুজন ক্ষুদ্ৰ ব্যৱসায়ী আছিল আৰু গুৰুজনাৰ কাশীৰ বাসস্থানলৈ নিতৌ আহি গাখীৰ , ফলমূল্, শাক পাচলি আদি নিত্য প্ৰয়োজনীয় সা-সামগ্ৰীৰ যোগান ধৰিছিল । খৃষ্টীয় পঞ্চদশ শতিকাত প্ৰচলিত সামাজিক নীতি নিয়ম অনুসৰি হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপাল নিম্ন জতিৰ লোক আছিল যদিও তেওঁলোক হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ অতি প্ৰিয়পাত্ৰ আছিল আৰু গুৰুজনাই তেওঁলোকৰ লগত নিজৰ পৰিয়ালৰ লোকৰ নিচিনাকৈ মিলা-মিছা কৰিছিল।সেই সময়ৰ প্ৰচলিত নিয়ম অনুসৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৰে উচ্চ কূলৰ ব্ৰাহ্মণ  পণ্ডিত এজনে হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপালৰ দৰে নিম্ন জাতিৰ লোকৰ সৈতে এইদৰে মিলামিছা কৰাটো কল্পনা কৰিব নোৱাৰা কথা আছিল ।হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ পৰা শ্ৰদ্ধা আৰু সন্মানপূৰ্ণ ব্যৱহাৰ পাই হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপালে মনত আনন্দ পাইছিল্। তেওঁলোকেও গুৰুজনাক অতিশয় শ্ৰদ্ধা কৰিছিল আৰু নিজৰ অতি আপোন লোক বুলি ধৰি মৰম স্নেহ কৰিছিল। গুৰুজনাই কাশী এৰাৰ যো-জা কৰা দেখি তেওঁলোকে গুৰুজনাৰ সান্নিধ্য ত্যাগ কৰিবলৈ অস্বীকাৰ কৰিছিল । হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৰে ব্যক্তিৰ সঙ্গ এৰাতকৈ নিজৰ গৃহ পৰিয়াল,বাসস্থান আদি ত্যাগ কৰা বেছি ভাল হ’ব বুলি তেওঁলোকে বিবেচনা কৰিছিল ।সেই কাৰণে তেওঁলোকে কামৰূপলৈ গৈ গুৰুজনাৰ সান্নিধ্যত থাকিব বিচাৰিছিল আৰু তেওঁলোকক লগত লৈ যাবলৈ গুৰুজনাক খাটনি ধৰিছিল। হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই অনেক বুজাই বঢ়াই তেওঁলোকৰ মত সলনি কৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰা সত্বেও তেওঁলোক নিজৰ মত সলনি কৰিবলৈ ৰাজী হোৱা নছিল । অৱশেষত নিৰুপায় হৈ গুৰুজনাই তেওঁলোকক কাশীৰ ঘৰুৱা সাংসাৰিক বিষয়ৰ থান থিত লগাবৰ বাবে কিছু সময় দি নিজৰ ভ্ৰমণসূচী অলপ দিনৰ বাবে পিছুৱাই দিছিল । হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপালে অলপ দিনৰ ভিতৰতে সেই কাম সমাধা কৰি স্ত্ৰী-সন্তান সহ গুৰুজনাৰ লগত যাবলৈ সাজু হৈছিল । তাৰ পিছতে হৰলাল পাণ্ডা আৰু তেওঁৰ পৰিয়ালৰ পৰা বিদায় লৈ দলটো জগন্নাথ পুৰী হৈ কামৰুপলৈ যোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে যাত্ৰা কৰিছিল।ইয়াতে কৈ ৰাখিব পাৰি যে হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপালে নিজৰ সমগ্ৰ জীৱন হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সেৱাত উছৰ্গা কৰিছিল । কামৰূপলৈ অহাৰ পিছত তেওঁলোকে গুৰুজনাৰ লগত ছাঁটোৰ দৰে লাগি আছিল আৰু হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ ধৰ্মপ্ৰচাৰ কাৰ্যত নিস্বাৰ্থ ভাৱে সহায় কৰিছিল । সময়ৰ লগে লগে তেওঁলোকৰ পৰিয়াল আৰু পিছৰ বংশধৰ সকল অসমীয়া সমাজৰ সৈতে একাকাৰ হৈ মিলি গৈছিল । এনেদৰে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ উদাৰ মানৱীয় দৃষ্টিভঙ্গীৰ ফলত ভাষা সংস্কৃতিৰ বিশাল পাৰ্থক্য থকা সত্বেও সুদূৰ কাশীৰ পৰা অহা দুটা পৰিয়ালে বৃহত্তৰ অসমীয়া সমাজত সম্পূৰ্ণ ভাৱে মিলি যোৱাৰ সুযোগ পাইছিল।(আগলৈ)
