Understanding Guru Harideva’s Approach Towards Unity-164(একতাৰ অনুসন্ধান সম্পৰ্কত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গী বুজাৰ প্ৰয়াস-১৬৪)

 We already told that Guru Harideva strated his journey from Kashi to Kamrupa via Puri along with his elder brother Purushottama and associate Dwija Gobinda . Two local people of Kashi, Haripal and Rammpal along with their families also accompanied him. When Guru Harideva decided to stay at Puri for five years, Purushottama returned to Coochbihar. Haripal and Rampal made their own arrangements of shelter and food at Puri. Now, after completion of five years Purushottama came to Puri to escort his brother Harideva to Kamrupa. Then all of them assembled again. They prayed for the blessings of Lord Jagannatha before living Puri. They met and expressed their gratitude to the temple priests, friends, well wishers and general public of Puri for their help and cooperation. Then the group started their journey by road. After some days of travel on foot, the party reached Nabadwipa and planed to stay there for some days. Nawadwipa was a famous educational center of that time. Earlier, Purushottama stayed there for a long time   during his student life. Most of the scholars and teachers of Nabadwipa were well known to Purushottama and so Guru Harideva got better scope to interact with them. The scholars of Navadwipa also became happy to get company of Guru Harideva. We already told that Guru Harideva was always interested to know everything about the life style of common poor and down trodden people in the society at each place he visited. At Navadwipa also he visited all important places nearby and interacted with this section of people of that locality.  Here also, his appearance and disposition attracted the common masses and people became very much interested to meet and interact with him as in the earlier cases. In such a meeting, a group of 4-5 young boys of Nabadwipa told him that they became mentally prepared to renounce everything in this world and decided to lead a life of  ascetic. They requested Guru Harideva to take them to Kamrupa along with him as his servant disciples. In reply, Guru Harideva advised them to serve their parents, families and the society as a whole with the best of their capacity and without expectation of anything in return. He told them that performance of ones duties in this manner is much better way of spiritual practice than gaining some fictitious   idea of renunciation and running after some so called ascetics or sadhus  as their servant . In this way he discouraged their false idea of renunciation of the worldly actions. The young men got convinced accordingly and decided  to serve their own families and the society in a selfless manner. Then, after a  short stay at Nabadwipa the party started their journey again . আগতে কৈ অহা হৈছে যে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই পুৰুষোত্তম আৰু দ্বিজ গোবিন্দৰ সৈতে কাশীৰ পৰা পুৰী হৈ কামৰূপলৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিছিল। কাশীৰ দুজন ব্যক্তি হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপালৰ লগতে তেওঁলোকৰ স্ত্ৰী-সন্তানো সেই দলত আছিল। হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই পাঁচ বছৰ কাল পুৰীত থাকি যোৱাৰ সিদ্ধান্ত লোৱাৰ পিছত পুৰুষোত্তম কোচবিহাৰলৈ উভটি গৈছিল। হৰিপাল আৰু ৰামপালে পুৰীতে নিজাকৈ থকা-খোৱাৰ ব্যৱস্থা কৰি লৈছিল । এনেদৰে পাঁচবছৰ পূৰ্ণ হোৱাৰ পিছত পুৰুষত্তমে ভাতৃ হৰিদেৱক কামৰূপলৈ লৈ যোৱাৰ বাবে পুৰীত উপস্থিত হৈছিল । ইয়াৰ পিছত দলটো পুনৰ একত্ৰিত হৈ পুৰী এৰাৰ আগতে ভগৱান জগন্নাথৰ আশীৰ্বাদ লৈছিল আৰু লগতে মন্দিৰৰ পুৰোহিত সমাজ, শুভাকাংক্ষী বন্ধু-বান্ধৱ তথা পুৰীৰ সাধাৰণ জনতাক মাত বোল লগাই তেওঁলোকৰ মৰম-স্নেহ আৰু সহায় সহযোগিতাৰ বাবে কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন কৰিছিল আৰু স্থলপথেৰে কামৰূপ অভিমুখে ৰাওনা হৈছিল । কিছুদিন খোজকঢ়াৰ অন্তত তেওঁলোকে নৱদ্বীপত উপস্থিত হৈ তাতে কেইদিনমান থাকি যোৱাৰ যো-জা কৰিছিল । সেই কালত নৱদ্বীপ উচ্চ শিক্ষাৰ কেন্দ্ৰ হিচাপে বিখ্যাত আছিল । গুৰুজনাৰ জ্যেষ্ঠ ভাতৃ পুৰুষোত্তমে ইয়াতে দীৰ্ঘকাল থাকি শিক্ষা গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল । সেই সূত্ৰে নৱদ্বীপৰ অনেক পণ্ডিত আৰু অধ্যাপক সৈতে পুৰুষোত্তমৰ ঘনিষ্ঠতা  আছিল আৰু হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই  সেই সকল বিদ্বান ব্যক্তিৰ সৈতে মত বিনিময় কৰাৰ সুবিধা পাইছিল । নৱদ্বীপৰ বিদ্বৎ সমাজেও হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ দৰে এজন পণ্ডিত আৰু সাধক ব্যক্তিক তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত পাই আনন্দিত হৈছিল ।আগতে কোৱা হৈছে যে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনা সকলো ঠাইৰ সৰ্ব সাধাৰণ দুখীয়া নিছলা লোকৰ জীৱনৰ সকলো সমস্যাৰ বুজ লোৱাৰ বাবে সদায় আগ্ৰহান্বিত আছিল । নৱদ্বীপ আৰু ওচৰে পাঁজৰে থকা সকলো উল্লেখযোগ্য স্থানলৈও  তেওঁ গৈছিল আৰু ইয়াতো সেই সকল সাধাৰণ লোকৰ সৈতে কথা বতৰা পাতি তেওঁলোকৰ অৱস্থাৰ বুজ লৈছিল। অন্য ঠাইৰ দৰে ইয়াতো গুৰুজনাৰ বিশেষ চেহেৰা আৰু আচাৰ-আচৰণ দেখি  সাধাৰণ জনতা মুগ্ধ হৈছিল আৰু অত্যন্ত আগ্ৰহ সহকাৰে তেওঁক দেখা কৰা বা কথা বতৰা হোৱাৰ বাবে আগ বাঢ়ি আহিছিল ।তেনে এক পৰিবেশৰ মাজতে ৪-৫ জন মান ডেকা ল’ৰাৰ এটা দলে গুৰুজনাৰ ওচৰত নিবেদন কৰিছিল যে তেওঁলোকৰ মনত সংসাৰৰ প্ৰতি বিৰাগ ভাৱ উৎপন্ন হৈছে । তেওঁলোকে ঘৰ গৃহস্থালীৰ মায়া ত্যাগ কৰি গুৰুজনাৰ সৈতে কামৰূপলৈ যাব খোজে আৰু সেৱক হিচাপে চিৰকাল গুৰুজনাৰ সৈতে থাকিব বিচাৰে । এই কথা শুনাৰ পিছত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই তেওঁলোকক উপদেশ দি কৈছিল যে সেই বয়সত তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃ, পৰিয়াল আৰু সমাজৰ সেৱামূলক কাৰ্যত সমস্ত শক্তি সামৰ্থ্য প্ৰয়োগ কৰা উচিত।কিন্তু এই সেৱা কাৰ্য একেবাৰে নিস্বাৰ্থ ভাৱে কৰিব লাগে অৰ্থাৎ এনে সেৱাৰ বিনিময়ত নিজৰ বাবে একো পোৱাৰ আশা  কৰিব নালাগে । নিষ্কাম ভাৱে কৰা সকলো প্ৰকাৰৰ কৰ্মই বৈৰাগ্যৰ মিছা অনুভূতি লৈ কোনো তথাকথিত সাধু সন্তৰ  পিছে পিছে সেৱক হিচাপে ঘুৰি ফুৰাতকৈ অনেক উচ্চ স্তৰৰ পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা । গুৰুজনাৰ পৰা এনে বুজনি পোৱাৰ পিছত তেওঁলোক কৃত্ৰিম বৈৰাগ্য ভাৱৰ আবেশৰ পৰা মুক্ত হৈ নিজৰ কৰ্ত্তব্য নিস্বাৰ্থ ভাৱে কৰি যোৱাৰ  বাবে সংকল্পবদ্ধ হৈছিল । এনেদৰে কিছুদিন নৱদ্বীপত অতিবাহিত কৰাৰ পিছত পুনৰ দলটো কামৰূপৰ ফালে আগ বাঢ়িছিল ।(আগলৈ)
