Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva -76 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-৭৬)

 

Guru Harideva tells that playing of musical instruments, singing, dancing , staging of drama etc are  essential parts of Vedic sacrifices and worship etc. Bringing educational messages to common people through those performances is very effective way for educating them. The scriptures containing details of dance, drama, song etc  are parts of the Vedas. In scriptural language those subjects are called “Gandharva Vidya”. Since ancient Vedic times this subject or Gandharva Vidya is being practiced in accordance with rules and regulations depicted in the scriptures. In this regard we can take example of the famous flute played by Lord Krishna . The famous sage Narada is said to be an expert of Gandharva Vidya and so on. Now a day’s also these programs are being performed in  many temples and other religious institutions. In actuality, when people depict the names, attributes and glories of God through song, dance, drama etc then such performances come under the category of Kirtana Bhakti. We know that when people recite scriptures and make discussion about God on the basis of those descriptions then that is called Kirtana. But this type of kirtana can not attract people at the lowest level of intelligence. On the other hand song ,dance, drama etc can  attract this category of people also. All People happily participate in those programs and  learn something about spiritual life in that way . Considering from those points Guru Harideva planned one Dol Griha or recreation house in the Satra campus and this was separate from the main prayer hall. The Dol Yatra of Lord Krishna was the most popular and fun filled religious function of his time. Guru Harideva used to make elaborate arrangements for celebration of this festival every year.  Dol Yatra was the biggest religious and fun filled function performed in the particular house mentioned above  and so  this house  was named as Dol Griha. In addition to Dol Yatra  all other fun filled religious functions related to  the Satra were arranged from this house.  (to be continued)

হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে যাগ-যজ্ঞ ,পূজা-পাতল আদি বৈদিক ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানত বাদ্যযন্ত্ৰ বজোৱা,  নৃত্য-গীত, নাটক আদি মনোৰঞ্জন ধৰ্মী অনুষ্ঠান পৰিবেশন কৰাটো  অতি প্ৰয়োজনীয় কথা।মনোৰঞ্জনৰ মাধ্যমত ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষামূলক অনুষ্ঠান পৰিবেশন বৈদিক ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানৰে অঙ্গবিশেষ। নৃত্যকলা ,নাট্যকলা ,সঙ্গীতকলা ইত্যাদি শাস্ত্ৰ বেদৰে অঙ্গ।  বৈদিক কালৰে পৰা এই কলাশাস্ত্ৰসমুহত দিয়া নিৰ্দেশ অনুসৰি এইবিলাক বিদ্যাৰ অনুশীলন চলি আহিছে।এই প্ৰসঙ্গত আমি ভগৱান কৃষ্ণৰ সুবিখ্যাত বাহীঁৰ কথা ধৰিব পাৰো । দেৱৰ্ষি নাৰদ গন্ধৰ্ব বিদ্যাত অতি পাকৈত আছিল বুলিও শাস্ত্ৰত কোৱা হৈছে । শাস্ত্ৰৰ পৰা এনে ধৰণৰ অনেক উদাহৰণ দিব পাৰি।বিভিন্ন মঠ-মন্দিৰতো অতি প্ৰাচীন কালৰে পৰা বৰ্ত্তমান কাললৈ এইবিলাক অনুষ্ঠান পৰিবেশন কৰি অহা হৈছে। ভগৱানৰ নাম ,গুণ, মহিমা আদি বৰ্ণনা কৰি শাস্ত্ৰীয় ৰীতি-নীতিমতে পৰিবেশন কৰা নৃত্য, গীত,নাটক আদি অনুষ্ঠান কীৰ্ত্তন ভক্তিৰ পৰ্যায়ত পৰে । শাস্ত্ৰকথা আলোচনা বিলোচনা কৰাও কীৰ্ত্তন যদিও সেই অনুষ্ঠানে  একেবাৰে অজ্ঞ ব্যক্তিক আকৰ্ষণ কৰিব নোৱাৰে । কিন্তু নৃত্য-নাট্য  অনুষ্ঠানে সাধাৰণ মানুহৰ মন সহজতে আকৰ্ষণ কৰে । সমাজৰ একেবাৰে অজ্ঞ ব্যক্তিজনেও আনন্দ উপভোগ কৰাৰ বাবে এনে অনুষ্ঠানত যোগদান কৰে আৰু এই অনুষ্ঠানৰ মাধ্যমত উচ্চতৰ জীৱনধাৰা সম্পৰ্কে কিছুকথা জানিব পাৰে।এই সকলো কথা বিবেচনা কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই সত্ৰৰ মূল প্ৰাৰ্থনা গৃহ বা নামঘৰৰ পৰা পৃথকভাৱে এটা দৌলগৃহ বা মনোৰঞ্জনমূলক কাৰ্যসূচী পৰিবেশন কৰা গৃহ নিৰ্মাণ কৰাৰ ব্যৱস্থা কৰিছিল। শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণৰ দৌলযাত্ৰা উৎসৱ সেই সময়ত প্ৰচলিত অতি জনপ্ৰিয় আৰু মনোৰঞ্জনধৰ্মী ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান আছিল। হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই সত্ৰৰ মনোৰঞ্জন গৃহত প্ৰতি বছৰে ধুমধামেৰে দৌলোৎসৱ পতাৰ ব্যৱস্থা কৰিছিল। দৌলোৎসৱ এই গৃহত অনুষ্ঠিত কৰা প্ৰধান ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান আছিল কাৰণে ইয়াৰ নাম দৌলগৃহ ৰখা হৈছিল। কিন্তু সত্ৰৰ অন্যান্য ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানৰ সৈতে সঙ্গতি ৰাখি আয়োজন কৰা মনোৰঞ্জনধৰ্মী অনুষ্ঠানসমুহো দৌলগৃহতে পৰিবেশন কৰাৰ ব্যৱস্থা কৰা হৈছিল । (আগলৈ)
