Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva -68 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-৬৮)

 

Guru Harideva tells that people can connect their mind with God through any one of the nine ways suggested by Bhagavata. But none of the ways serves the real purpose unless those are accompanied with devotion. People may keep themselves physically engaged with sravavna, kirttana etc at their home or in some place of worship. People may regularly visit temples for performance of worship and offering of respect to God. People may perform many other types of spiritual practices. But unless those practices  are performed with devotion no result will come. In the Bhagavadgita and Bhagavata it is clearly mentioned that without devotional attachment with God nobody can attain God realization or spiritual perfection by study of the Vedas, performance of penance, charity, Vedic sacrifices and any other spiritual performance. In this context Guru Harideva tells that by way of devotion bondage of love and affection is established between God and devotees. Due to this bondage the distance between God and devotees gets reduced. Then God becomes bound to shower blessings upon his devotees. Under such condition God reveals himself in the heart of devotees to fulfill their demands. In this way by devoted spiritual practice through any one or more of the nine ways suggested in the Bhagavata devotees can attain spiritual perfection. We know that there are some scholars and materially powerful people who try to know God by application of the capacity of their mind and intelligence. Guru Harieva explains their condition with an analogy as follows. People generally raise alarm by shouting for help from others’ if they are in danger. Hearing such alarming call nearby people  rush to help that person. Now, when a person faces some very dangerous situation while he is in the interior of a deep forest then also he shouts for help. But in that case nobody can hear his cry and the person in danger cannot get any help from other people. Thus crying in a deep forest does not bring any result. In a similar way spiritual performance without devotion is said to be  meaningless exercise by Guru Harideva.   (to be continued)

হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে মানুহে ভাগৱতত উল্লেখ কৰা নটি উপায়ৰ ভিতৰত যিকোনো এটা বা একাধিক উপায়েৰে ঈশ্বৰৰ সৈতে মনৰ সংযোগ সাধন কৰিব পাৰে।কিন্তু ভক্তিভাৱৰ সৈতে সংযুক্ত কৰিব নোৱাৰিলে ইয়াৰ এটা উপায়ো ঈশ্বৰ উপলব্ধিৰ বাবে উপযুক্ত নহয়। মানুহে দেখাত নিজৰ ঘৰত বা কোনো ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানলৈ গৈ শ্ৰৱণ, কীৰ্ত্তন আদিত ব্যস্ত হৈ থাকিব পাৰে।পূজা-উপাসনা কৰাৰ বাবে নিয়মিতভাৱে মন্দিৰলৈ যাব পাৰে অথবা অন্য কোনো ধৰ্মীয় অনুষ্ঠানত সদাব্যস্ত হৈ থাকিব পাৰে।কিন্তু ভক্তিভাৱ সহকাৰে শ্ৰৱণ-কীৰ্ত্তনাদি ধৰ্মীয় আচৰণ নকৰিলে তাৰ পৰা একো ফল পোৱা নাযায় ।ভগৱদ্গীতা আৰু ভাগৱতত স্পষ্টভাৱে কোৱা হৈছে যে ঈশ্বৰৰ সৈতে ভক্তিযুক্ত সম্বন্ধ স্থাপন নকৰাকৈ বেদ অধ্যয়ন , তপ ,জপ ,যাগ-যজ্ঞ, দান-দক্ষিণা ইত্যাদি কৰা যায় যদিও তেনে পাৰমাৰ্থিক কৰ্মৰ দ্বাৰা ঈশ্বৰক জানিব বা অনুভৱ কৰিব নোৱাৰি।এই প্ৰসঙ্গত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই পুনৰ কৈছে যে ভক্তিৰ মাধ্যমত ভক্ত আৰু ভগৱানৰ মাজত প্ৰেম আৰু স্নেহবন্ধনৰ সৃষ্টি হয়। এই বন্ধনৰ ফলত ভক্ত আৰু ভগৱানৰ মাজৰ দূৰত্ব ক্ৰমান্বয়ে কমি আহে। ভক্তৰ সৈতে প্ৰেমবন্ধনত আৱদ্ধ হোৱাৰ পিছত ভগৱানে ভক্তৰ ওপৰত কৃপাবৰ্ষণ কৰিবলৈ বাধ্য হয়।তেতিয়া ভক্তই বিচৰামতে ভগৱানে ভক্তৰ হৃদয়ত আত্মপ্ৰকাশ কৰে। এনেদৰে  ভাগৱতত উল্লেখ কৰা নটি উপায়ৰ ভিতৰৰ যিকোনো এটা বা একাধিক উপায়েৰে ভক্তি সহকাৰে মনসংযোগ কৰি ভক্তই ঈশ্বৰৰ দৰ্শনলাভ বা পাৰমৰ্থিক পূৰ্ণতা লাভ কৰিব পাৰে।এই প্ৰসঙ্গত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে জাগতিক বিদ্যা-বুদ্ধি , সা-সম্পদ , ক্ষমতা আদিৰ বশীভূত হৈ এচাম লোকে নিজৰ মানবীয় বিচাৰ-বুদ্ধিৰ দ্বাৰা ঈশ্বৰৰ তত্ব বুজাৰ প্ৰয়াস কৰে আৰু অন্য লোককো সেই ধৰণে পৰিচালনা কৰাৰ চেষ্টা কৰে । তেনে ব্যক্তিৰ অৱস্থা বুজাবৰ বাবে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই তলৰ উপমা ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিছে । আমি জানো যে হঠাৎ বেছি বিপদত পৰিলে চিঞৰ বাখৰ কৰি অন্য লোকৰ সহায় বিচৰাটো মানুহৰ স্বভাৱ । বিপদত পৰা মানুহৰ চিঞৰ বাখৰ শুনিলে ওচৰত থকা লোকে তেনে ব্যক্তি সহায় কৰাটো মনুষ্য সমাজৰ নিয়ম । কিন্তু কেতিয়াবা গভীৰ অৰণ্যৰ মাজত অকলশৰীয়া ব্যক্তি বিপদগ্ৰস্ত হৈ উদ্ধাৰৰ বাবে সহায় বিচাৰি চিঞৰ বাখৰ  কৰে । সেই চিঞৰ অন্য মানুহে নুশুনা বাবে কোনো লোক সহায় কৰাৰ বাবে আগবাঢ়ি অহাৰ সম্ভাৱনা নাথাকে । সেয়েহে কোৱা হয় যে অৰণ্য ৰোদনৰ পৰা একো ফল লাভ নহয় । একেদৰে ভক্তিহীন পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনাৰ পৰাও একো ফল লাভ নহয় বুলি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে ।(আগলৈ)
