When the sun rises people see so many things in his surroundings. The rising sun does not create anything new. The things seen remain already available in the surroundings. The sun removes the cover of darkness and then people can see the things around them. Citing this analogy Bhagavata tells that God is present in every person as his soul. He is  nearest and dearest to all and without his presence nobody can survive. But in spite of that people cannot see him or realize his presence   in their heart. According to Bhagavata this happens due to accumulation of numerous types of desires  in the heart of people. Again the desires are generated by various activities performed in the previous lives. Because of the cover created by innumerable impure desires lodged within the heart, people cannot realize the presence of God within. However , when the heart is purified God expresses himself not from outside but from inside of one’s heart. This is direct realization of God within  or attainment of  self realization or “Atmajnana”. This is as like as direct experience of sunshine. We know that we cannot see anything in the darkness. When light from sun , fire or any other source removes the  cover of darkness then only we can see the things. But for seeing sun shine no light from any outside source is necessary. We can see the sunshine directly through our eyes. In a similar way one can realize the presence of God within  his own heart after attainment of “Atmajnana”. In this context Guru Harideva suggests that for attainment of “Atmajnana” or realization of God within, people need not leave the company of his relatives, society , material properties etc. and go to forest for spiritual practice. If one whole heartedly comes to “Sharana” of Lord Krishna his heart is purified and then he can directly realize God within his own or attain “Atmajnana”. After coming to this stage of spiritual perfection people can understand the real nature of wife, children, all other people related  to him, wealth-properties  etc. under his  possession  and deal with them in correct ways, that is, without any undue attachments towards them. According to Guru Harideva if the things are analyzed as above people can perform higher spiritual practice and live a blissful material life simultaneously. ( to be continued)

ৰাতিপুৱা সূৰ্য উদয় হোৱাৰ লগে লগে মানুহে চাৰিওপিনে গছ-গছনি ,পৰ্বত-পাহাৰ আদিকে ধৰি অনেক বস্তু দেখা পায়। উদয় হোৱা সূৰ্যই নিজে একো বস্তু সৃষ্টি নকৰে । চাৰিওপিনে দেখা পোৱা বস্তুবোৰ আগৰে পৰাই থাকে । সূৰ্য উদয় হোৱাৰ লগে লগে ৰাতিৰ অন্ধকাৰৰ আৱৰণ দূৰ হয় আৰু তেতিয়া মানুহে বস্তুসমুহ দেখা পায় ।এই উপমা দি ভাগৱতে কৈছে যে ঈশ্বৰ আত্মাৰূপে প্ৰত্যেক মানুহৰ অন্তৰতে থাকে । আত্মা বা ঈশ্বৰতকৈ নিকটতম আৰু প্ৰিয়তম অন্য একো নাই ।কিন্তু তাৰ পিছতো মানুহে ঈশ্বৰক দেখা নাপায় অৰ্থাৎ নিজৰ অন্তৰতে থকা ঈশ্বৰক উপলব্ধি কৰিব নোৱাৰে । ভাগৱতে কৈছে যে  মানুহৰ অন্তৰত সঞ্চিত হৈ  থকা অসংখ্য প্ৰকাৰৰ কামনা-বাসনাই ইয়াৰ কাৰণ। লগতে কোৱা হৈছে যে আগৰ জন্মসমুহত কৰি অহা বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ কৰ্মৰ  ফলস্বৰূপে কামনা-বাসনা সমুহ সৃষ্টি হয়। জন্ম জন্মান্তৰ জুৰি অপূৰ্ণ হৈ থকা কামনা-বাসনা সমুহ একেলগ হৈ ইয়াৰ এক বৃহৎ ভাণ্ডাৰ সৃষ্টি হয় আৰু এই ভাণ্ডাৰ  আমাৰ অন্তৰত জমা হৈ থাকে । এই সঞ্চিত কামনা বাসনা সমুহে আৱৰণ সৃষ্টি  কৰা হেতুকে মানুহে নিজৰ হৃদয়তে বিৰাজমান ঈশ্বৰক উপলব্ধি কৰিব নোৱাৰে ।অৱশ্যে যেতিয়া হৃদয় বিশুদ্ধ হয় তেতিয়া মানুহে বাহিৰত ঈশ্বৰ বিচৰাৰ প্ৰয়োজন নাথাকে। বিশুদ্ধ অন্তৰৰ  ব্যক্তিয়ে নিজৰ অন্তৰতে ঈশ্বৰৰ উপস্থিতি অনুভৱ কৰিব পাৰে । এয়ে ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰত্যক্ষ অনুভূতি বা আত্মজ্ঞান । এই অনুভৱ নিজ চকুৰে সূৰ্যৰ পোহৰ দেখাৰ নিচিনা ।  আমি জানো যে অন্ধকাৰৰ মাজত থকা একো বস্তু আমি দেখা  নাপাওঁ । সূৰ্য , জুই বা অন্য কোনো উৎসৰ পৰা পোহৰ আহি অন্ধকাৰৰ আৱৰণ দূৰ কৰাৰ পিছতহে  আমি বস্তু দেখা পাওঁ । কিন্তু সূৰ্যৰ পোহৰ অনুভৱ কৰাৰ বাবে বাহিৰৰ অন্য কোনো উৎসৰ পৰা পোহৰ  অনাৰ প্ৰয়োজন নহয় । একেদৰে আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ কৰাৰ পিছত মানুহে নিজৰ ভিতৰতে ঈশ্বৰৰ উপস্থিতি  প্ৰত্যক্ষভাৱে অনুভৱ কৰিব পাৰে । এই প্ৰসঙ্গত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই উপদেশ প্ৰদান কৰি কৈছে যে প্ৰত্যক্ষ ঈশ্বৰানুভূতি বা আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ কৰাৰ বাবে মানুহে নিজৰ স্ত্ৰী-পুত্ৰাদি আত্মীয়-স্বজন , সমাজ , বৈষয়িক সা-সম্পদ ইত্যাদি ত্যাগ কৰি পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা কৰাৰ বাবে অৰণ্যলৈ যোৱাৰ প্ৰয়োজন নাই । যদি কোনো ব্যক্তিয়ে সম্পূৰ্ণ আন্তৰিকতা সহকাৰে ভগৱান শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণৰ শৰণ গ্ৰহণ কৰে তেন্তে  তেওঁৰ অন্তৰ বিশুদ্ধ হয় । তেনে ব্যক্তিয়ে  নিজৰ অন্তৰতে ঈশ্বৰক প্ৰত্যক্ষভাৱে অনুভৱ কৰিব পাৰে বা আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ কৰিব পাৰে । পাৰমাৰ্থিক উন্নতিৰ এই স্তৰত উপনীত হোৱাৰ পিছত মানুহে স্ত্ৰী ,সন্তান , আত্মীয়-স্বজন , সমাজ  ইত্যাদি সা-সম্বন্ধ আৰু ধন-সম্পদ ইত্যাদি  জাগতিক বিষয়-বস্তুৰ প্ৰকৃত স্বৰূপ বুজি লৈ সেইবোৰৰ প্ৰতি অহেতুক আসক্তি ত্যাগ কৰিব পাৰে । হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে কথাবিলাক ওপৰত কোৱা ধৰণে বিচাৰ-বিশ্লেষণ কৰি চলিলে উচ্চ পৰ্যায়ৰ পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনাৰ সমান্তৰালভাৱে আনন্দময় সাংসাৰিক জীৱন যাপন কৰা সম্ভৱ। (আগলৈ)
