Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva -89 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-৮৯)

 

Guru Harideva suggests that the first stage of “Sharana” means surrendering of one’s mind to lord Krishna. Details of this are discussed in the preceding posts. Now, explaining the subject  further  Guru Harideva  tells that after surrendering of one’s mind to Lord Krishna  one should try to surrender his attachments  towards wife , son, daughter , other relatives, house , properties etc. to lord Krishna . This stage of surrendering is termed as second or medium stage of “Sharana” by him. Practically, in day to day life, we, the common people, consider our material properties and relationship with others as most valuable and essential parts of our life. We cannot imagine a life without them. Most of the people are not ready to give away even one coin of lowest value also. However, if the Government declares the same particular coin as invalid then we can throw it away. In a similar way if we truly assess the reality of the things and people of this world and our connections with them, then  we can understand that those things bear no real value. Under such condition only we can remain free from any kind of attachment towards them.  Scriptures try to clarify this point as follows. In this world we see Rabbit and Rabbit has no horn .Also, there are animals like cow, buffalo etc.  and they have horn . So, horn and Rabbit both are there but there is no connection between them. That is, if we connect horn with Rabbit and utter as horn of rabbit then it carries no meaning and this is a false statement. This is because though the existence of horn and Rabbit is true the connection between them is false. With this analogy the scriptures tell that the relationship of things of the world with us is like this. Presence of things and people in this world is true but the relationship we establish with them is false. In this context Guru Harideva suggests that by simple scriptural knowledge as above this truth cannot be fully realized. With theoretical knowledge acquired from the scriptures people cannot become free from the attachment of material objects and worldly relationship with people. After coming to “Sharana” or shelter of Lord Krishna one’s mind is purified and then only people can realize the truth and surrender material attachment to Lord Krishna and can become free from those attachments. হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে প্ৰথম পৰ্যায়ৰ শৰণৰ অৰ্থ হৈছে নিজৰ মনক ভগৱান কৃষ্ণৰ ওচৰত সমৰ্পণ কৰা। আগৰ কেইটামান লিখনিত এই বিষয়ে বিতংকৈ কোৱাৰ চেষ্ট কৰা হৈছে । এই বিষয়ত আৰু আগলৈ গৈ হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে  ভগৱান কৃষ্ণৰ চৰণত মন সমৰ্পণ কৰাৰ পিছত  স্ত্ৰী –পুত্ৰ- মিত্ৰ  আদি সা-সম্বন্ধ আৰু গৃহ–ধন আদি  বিষয় সম্পদৰ প্ৰতি আসক্তি ভগৱানৰ চৰণত অৰ্পণ কৰাৰ চেষ্টা কৰিব লাগে । এই পৰ্যায়ৰ শৰণক দ্বিতীয় পৰ্যায়ৰ শৰণ বা মধ্যম শৰণ বুলি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই অভিহিত কৰিছে ।আমি জানো যে আমাৰ দৰে সাধাৰণ মানুহে বৈষয়িক সা-সম্পদ আৰু পৰিয়াল-পৰিজনৰ সৈতে থকা সম্পৰ্কসমুহকে জীৱনৰ অতিশয় মূল্যৱান আৰু অপৰিহাৰ্য অংশ হিচাপে গণ্য কৰে । এইবিলাক বাদ দি জীৱন ধাৰণ কৰাৰ কথা আমি ভাৱিব নোৱাৰো । সাধাৰণ এটকীয়া মুদ্ৰা এটাকো ত্যাগ কৰাৰ কথা আমাৰ দৰে সংসাৰ আসক্ত মানুহে ভাৱিব নোৱাৰে ।অৱশ্যে চৰকাৰে যদি সেই একেটা মুদ্ৰাকে অচল বুলি ঘোষণা কৰে তেন্তে তাক ত্যাগ কৰা আমাৰ বাবে সহজ হৈ উঠে ।  একেদৰে  মিথ্যা বা অসত্য বুলি অনুভৱ কৰিব নোৱাৰিলে স্ত্ৰী–পুত্ৰ-কলত্ৰ-ধন-সম্পদ আদিৰ মোহ ত্যাগ কৰা সম্ভৱ নহয়। সেই হেতুকে আমি সদায় চকুৰ আগতে দেখি থকা এইবিলাক বস্তু আৰু সা-সম্বন্ধ ইত্যাদি  কিদৰে মিথ্যা হ’ব পাৰে তাক বিচাৰ কৰি চোৱা প্ৰয়োজন ।  আমি জানো যে জগতত শিয়াল নামৰ এবিধ জন্তু আছে । শিয়ালৰ শিং নাই । আনহাতে গৰু ,ম’হ , ছাগলী আদি শিং থকা জন্তুও জগতত আছে । অৰ্থাৎ শিং আৰু শিয়াল দুয়োটা বস্তু জগতত আছে যদিও  উভয়ৰে মাজত কোনো সম্পৰ্ক নাই । এতিয়া  যদি শিং শব্দটো শিয়ালৰ সৈতে সংযোগ কৰি শিয়ালৰ শিং বুলি কোৱা হয় তেন্তে ইয়াৰ কোনো অৰ্থ নাথাকে বা এটা মিছা সম্পৰ্ক স্থাপন কৰা হয়। ইয়াত শিয়াল আৰু শিঙৰ অস্তিত্ব সঁচা যদিও শিয়ালৰ সৈতে শিঙৰ সম্পৰ্ক মিছা । এনে উপমাৰ দ্বাৰা শাস্ত্ৰত বুজাই দিয়া হৈছে যে জগতৰ বস্তু আৰু  মানুহৰ সৈতে আমাৰ যি সম্পৰ্ক আছে বুলি আমি ভাৱো সিও এনে  ধৰণৰ, অৰ্থাৎ মিছা ।  জগতত আমি  মানুহ আৰু  বস্তু দেখাটো সত্য কিন্তু সিবিলাকৰ সৈতে আমি যি সম্পৰ্ক স্থাপন কৰো সেই সম্পৰ্ক সঁচা নহয় । এই সন্দৰ্ভত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে এনে গভীৰ তত্বজ্ঞান উপলব্ধি কৰাৰ বাবে শাস্ত্ৰৰ কথাবিলাক ওপৰত কোৱাৰ দৰে জানি লোৱাটোৱে যথেষ্ট নহয় ।আক্ষৰিক অৰ্থত কথাবিলাক জানিলেই মানুহে  বৈষয়িক জগতৰ আসক্তিৰ পৰা মুক্ত হ’ব নোৱাৰে । ভগৱান শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণৰ শৰণ গ্ৰহণ কৰাৰ পিছত মন বা অন্তঃকৰণ  বিশুদ্ধ হয় আৰু তেতিয়াহে মানুহে প্ৰকৃত সত্য উপলব্ধি কৰি বৈষয়িক জগতৰ বস্তু আৰু সম্বন্ধৰ আসক্তিৰ পৰা মুক্ত হ’ব পাৰে । (আগলৈ)
