Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva-161 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-১৬১)

 

Guru Hairideva in his writings elaborately discusses the essential qualities of  spiritual master or Guru  and advises his followers to come to the shelter of such Guru. In  our preceding posts some of  them  have been discussed. On the other hand, in  the Vedic Scriptures  it is said that  the austerities and learning acquired by a people who is not gentle cause harm to the society . Bhagavata  practically explains this point through many stories involving various  characters. Based on those teachings Guru Harideva narrates the essential qualities of a disciple. According to him a person who is not respectful and obedient to his parents, respectable senior members and well wishers from his family and society should not be considered as a qualified disciple . It is already discussed that the religious philosophy of Guru Harideva is based on the teachings of Bhagavata. Bhagavata narrates the general life style and day to day activities of Lord Krishna as a human being in addition to his glorious divine activities. Bhagavata says that Lord Krishna followed all rules and regulations framed in the Vedic Scriptures for the members of the human society. He was God Almighty for his parents and seniors also .  Lord Krishna  as God Almighty is the  unique  controller or soul  of the body, mind and all activities of his own  parents , other senior relatives, teachers , seniors citizens and all other people . In spite of that the Lord as human being , used to show  due respect to all of them in his day to day life.  Based on such teachings contained in Bhagavata Guru Harideva suggests that a spiritual master or Guru should not accept any person who is not respectful and obedient to his parents and other  senior respectable persons  as his disciple . This is because a disciple who is not obedient even to his parents , cannot be obedient to his Guru in true sense . ( to be continued)

হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই নিজৰ লিখনিত উপযুক্ত পাৰমাৰ্থিক শিক্ষাদাতা গুৰুৰ লক্ষণ বিস্তাৰিতভাৱে বৰ্ণনা কৰি শিষ্যক তেনে গুৰুৰ শৰণাগত হোৱাৰ উপদেশ দিছে ।ইয়াৰ আগৰ  কেইটামান লিখনিত এইবিলাক কথাৰ কিছু আভাস দিয়া হৈছে। আনহাতে বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰত কোৱা হৈছে যে দুৰ্বিনীত ব্যক্তিয়ে  তপস্যা আৰু সাধনাৰ দ্বাৰা আহৰণ কৰা  জ্ঞান  সমাজৰ বাবে ক্ষতিকাৰক উদ্দেশ্যত ব্যৱহৃত হোৱাৰ সম্ভাৱনা থাকে।  ভাগৱতৰ অনেক চৰিত্ৰৰ কাহিনীৰ মাধ্যমত এই কথা পৰিষ্কাৰভাৱে বুজাই দিয়া হৈছে ।সেইবিলাকৰ আধাৰত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই উপযুক্ত শিষ্যৰ লক্ষণ সমূহ বৰ্ণনা কৰিছে । গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে যি ব্যক্তি নিজৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃ , পৰিয়াল আৰু সমাজৰ অন্যান্য সন্মানীয় জ্যেষ্ঠ ব্যক্তি তথা শুভচিন্তক সকলৰ প্ৰতি বিনয়ী নহয় আৰু সেই সকল লোকক যথোপযুক্ত সন্মান প্ৰদৰ্শন নকৰে তেনে ব্যক্তি শিষ্য হোৱাৰ যোগ্য নহয় । আগতে কৈ অহা হৈছে যে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ ধৰ্মীয় দৰ্শন ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰৰ শিক্ষা আৰু উপদেশৰ ওপৰত আধাৰিত ।ভাগৱতত অকল ভগৱান কৃষ্ণৰ দৈৱিক অলৌকিক কাহিনীৰে বৰ্ণনা নাই ।মানৱ সমাজৰ এজন সদস্য হিচাপে তেওঁৰ জীৱন যাত্ৰা প্ৰণালী , সাধাৰণ গৃহস্থ ব্যক্তি হিচাপে তেওঁ কৰা দৈনন্দিন কৰ্মৰাজি তথা সমাজৰ অন্যান্য ব্যক্তিৰ সৈতে কৰা আচাৰ আচৰণ আদিৰো বৰ্ণনা আছে ।কোৱা হৈছে যে ভগৱান কৃষ্ণই মানৱ সমাজৰ বাবে বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰই নিৰ্দ্ধাৰণ কৰি দিয়া সকলো ৰীতি-নীতি, আচাৰ্-বিচাৰ শ্ৰদ্ধা সহকাৰে পালন কৰিছিল। পৰমেশ্বৰ বা সকলোৰে অভ্যন্তৰত থকা আত্মা হিচাপে তেওঁ নিজৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃ তথা সমাজৰ অন্যান্য সন্মানীয় ব্যক্তিৰো পৰমেশ্বৰ । আত্মাৰূপে শৰীৰত অৱস্থিত ভগৱান কৃষ্ণ নিজৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃ , পৰিয়াল তথা সমাজৰ অন্যান্য বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠ লোকৰো শৰীৰ, মন আৰু তেওঁলোকে কৰা সমস্ত কৰ্মৰ একমাত্ৰ নিয়ন্ত্ৰক। তথাপিও  সেইসকল লোকৰ প্ৰতি কৰা কৃষ্ণৰ আচাৰ আচৰণ বিনয় সম্পন্ন আছিল । তেওঁ  পিতৃ-মাতৃ আৰু অন্যান্য সন্মানযোগ্য লোকক যথোপযুক্ত সন্মান প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰিছিল । ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰৰ এইবিলাক জ্ঞানৰ আধাৰত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে পিতৃ-মাতৃ তথা সমাজৰ বয়োবৃদ্ধ গুণী-জ্ঞানী লোকৰ প্ৰতি শ্ৰদ্ধাহীন তথা সেইসকলৰ প্ৰতি সন্মান প্ৰদৰ্শন নকৰা ব্যক্তিক গুৰুৱে শিষ্য হিচাপে গ্ৰহণ কৰা উচিত নহয় ।ইয়াৰ কাৰণ হৈছে যি ব্যক্তিয়ে নিজৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃকে যথোপযুক্ত মৰ্যাদা প্ৰদান কৰিব নোৱাৰে তেনে ব্যক্তিৰ পক্ষে শাস্ত্ৰবিধি অনুসৰি গুৰুক উপযুক্ত সন্মান দিয়া প্ৰকৃতাৰ্থত সম্ভৱ নহয় । (আগলৈ)
