In our practical life we see that after prolonged research and experiment the great scholars discover some new theory on certain subject . A student of that subject at the lower stage of his study cannot directly understand the theory discovered by the great scholar . There is another class of scholar who write text books to explain the theory discovered by the great scholars. In the text book the original theory is explained in a simpler way. After that also the student cannot clearly understand the theory . So,  help from  a competent teacher is needed to make the subject already explained in the text book more clear to the student. The teacher mixes the contents of the text book with his own knowledge and practical experiences to make the subject clear to the student. He also answers all questions put to him by the student and removes all doubts of the student. After that only the student becomes able to gain full knowledge of the subject concerned. The things are similar in case of spiritual knowledge and practice also. It is said that the Vedas were revealed by the God Almighty to the sages of higher spiritual discipline. The Vedas are the source of all kinds of knowledge . Common people can not understand the Vedas . So some of the sages wrote huge volumes of scriptures to make the Vedas clear to the common people . Now,  common ignorant people can not read complete volumes of Vedic scripture . Also , it is not possible for a common man to select the  scriptures suitable for him for acquiring proper and complete spiritual knowledge and perform spiritual practice in accordance with that knowledge .  Here the necessity of a spiritual teacher  arises . Guru Harideva, as the most competent spiritual master , selected the Bhagavata  for his disciples. According to him  the Bhagavata is the best Vedic Scripture for the common ignorant people of the current age of Kali and all should perform spiritual practice in accordance with the knowledge and instructions contained in the Bhagavata. He suggests his disciples and followers to approach a Guru who understand the underlying meaning of the verses contained in the Bhagavata and surrender to such a Guru  for further instructions  in the field of spiritual practice. ব্যৱহাৰিক জীৱনত আমি দেখা পাওঁ যে কোনো জ্ঞানী পণ্ডিত ব্যক্তিয়ে দীৰ্ঘকালীন অনুসন্ধান আৰু পৰীক্ষা-নিৰীক্ষা কৰি কোনো এটা বিষয়ৰ নতুন তত্ব আবিষ্কাৰ কৰে । বিষয়টোৰ ওপৰত অধ্যয়ন কৰা ছাত্ৰ এজনে প্ৰথম অৱস্থাত গৱেষকে আৱিষ্কাৰ কৰা তত্ব বুজি নাপায়। অন্য এচাম বিজ্ঞ্-অভিজ্ঞ পণ্ডিতে মূল গৱেষকৰ তত্ব অধ্যয়ন কৰি সেই তত্ব ব্যাখ্যাৰ দ্বাৰা  বিষয়টো সহজবোধ্য কৰি পাঠ্য পুস্তক প্ৰণয়ন কৰে ।পাঠ্যপুস্তকত লিখা কথা মূল গৱেষকৰ তত্বকথাতকৈ অনেক সহজ-সৰল হয়। কিন্তু  পাঠ্যপুস্তক পঢ়িও ছাত্ৰজনে মূল তত্বকথা স্পষ্টভাৱে বুজি নাপায় । সেয়েহে ছাত্ৰজনক স্পষ্ট ৰূপত তত্বজ্ঞান বুজাই দিয়াৰ বাবে এজন উপযুক্ত শিক্ষকৰ প্ৰয়োজন হয়। শিক্ষকজনে পাঠ্যপুথিত লিখা কথাৰ সৈতে নিজৰ ব্যৱহাৰিক জ্ঞান আৰু অভিজ্ঞতাৰ সংমিশ্ৰণ কৰি ছাত্ৰক বুজায় । ইয়াৰ  লগতে ছাত্ৰৰ মনত উদয় হোৱা প্ৰশ্নৰ উত্তৰ দি সকলো সন্দেহ সংশয় দূৰ কৰে । তাৰ পিছতহে ছাত্ৰজনে বিষয়-বস্তুৰ পূৰ্ণ জ্ঞান লাভ কৰিব পাৰে ।পাৰমাৰ্থিক বিষয়ৰ জ্ঞান অৰ্জন আৰু সাধনাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰতো কথাবিলাক প্ৰায় একে ।কোৱা হৈছে যে উচ্চ স্তৰৰ পাৰমাৰ্থিক জ্ঞান আৰু সাধনা সম্পন্ন ঋষি-মুনিসকলৰ অন্তৰত পৰমেশ্বৰে বেদ প্ৰকট কৰিছিল । বেদ সমস্ত প্ৰকাৰ জ্ঞানৰ মূল ভাণ্ডাৰ ।সাধাৰণ মানুহে বেদ বুজি পোৱা সম্ভৱ নহয় । জনসাধাৰণৰ মনত বেদজ্ঞান স্পষ্ট কৰাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে এচাম ঋষি-মুনিয়ে শাস্ত্ৰ প্ৰণয়ণ কৰি বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰে বেদ ব্যাখ্যা কৰাৰ ফলত  বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰৰ সুবিশাল ভাণ্ডাৰ সৃষ্টি হৈছে।কোনো ব্যক্তিৰ পক্ষে সমগ্ৰ বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰ পঢ়ি বেদজ্ঞান লাভ কৰা সম্ভৱ নহয়।আনহাতে বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰৰ বিশাল ভাণ্ডাৰৰ পৰা নিজৰ বাবে উপযোগী শাস্ত্ৰ নিৰ্বাচন কৰা আৰু সেই শাস্ত্ৰৰ জ্ঞান আৰু উপদেশমতে পাৰমৰ্থিক সাধনা কৰাৰ কৌশল আয়ত্ব কৰা  সাধাৰণ অজ্ঞানী লোকৰ পক্ষে সম্ভৱ নহয়। এইখিনিতে পাৰমাৰ্থিক বিষয়ৰ উপযুক্ত শিক্ষক বা গুৰুৰ প্ৰয়োজন আহি পৰে । পাৰমাৰ্থিক বিষয়ৰ পৰম তত্বজ্ঞান সম্পন্ন শিক্ষক হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই নিজৰ শিষ্য-ভকতৰ বাবে ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰ নিৰ্বাচন কৰিছে । গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে বৰ্ত্তমান কাল বা কলিযুগৰ সাধাৰণ অজ্ঞানী লোকৰ বাবে ভাগৱত সৰ্বোত্তম শাস্ত্ৰ ।এই যুগৰ সকলো লোকে ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰত দিয়া জ্ঞান আৰু উপদেশৰ আধাৰত পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা কৰা উচিত ।গুৰুজনাই লগতে কৈছে যে ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰত সন্নিবিষ্ট শ্লোক সমুহৰ অন্তৰ্নিহিত গুঢ় অৰ্থ বুজি পোৱা ব্যক্তিহে গুৰু হোৱাৰ যোগ্য ।গুৰুজনাই নিজৰ শিষ্য আৰু অনুগামী সকলক তেনেকুৱা যোগ্য গুৰুৰ শৰণ গ্ৰহণ কৰি সেই গুৰুৰ উপদেশ অনুসৰি পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা কৰাৰ উপদেশ দিছে।( আগলৈ)
