Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva-142 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-১৪২)

 

Guru Harideva  suggests that one should   study or listen to the explanation of  Bhagavadgita and Bhagavata from competent person daily. Also ,one should perform spiritual practice and live his day to day  life in accordance with the instructions contained in those two scriptures. Before coming to this conclusion he studied the Vedas, Darshanas, Puranas and all other relevant Vedic scriptures. According to him the Bhagavadgita and the Bhagavata contain the gist of the Vedanta, that is, the knowledge part of the Vedas. In the Vedas it is told that there is only one Ultimate Truth and the learned persons explain this Ultimate Truth in various different ways. Because of that we find huge number of Vedic scripture. The contents of different Vedic scripture may appear to be different in the mind of common people. But in actuality each and every Vedic scripture explains only one thing  and that is called the Ultimate Truth  or the Soul or “Atma” .  Realization of   this Ultimate Truth or the soul or the self inside us is the ultimate aim of human life. In each Vedic scripture it is explained that except the soul or “Atma” all other things in this world or outside it do not exists forever. They appear, then exist for some time and then disappear. During the period of their existence continuous changes occur in them. So though we see them, hear them or feel them by other means, their existence cannot  be considered as true . Different names ,forms and glories are attributed to the Ultimate Truth or the soul in different Vedic scripture to make common people understand the subject . In the Bhagavata and the Bhagavdgita the Ultimate Truth is named as Lord Krishna and his divine glorious activities are described there in a comparatively simpler way. Guru Harideva tells that if one can realize the  soul inside him in the name and form of Lord Krishna from the descriptions given in these two scriptures then he can easily attain self realization which is the ultimate goal of human life. Now, there are so many things to be learnt from a competent person or Guru in order to understand the knowledge and instructions contained in the Bhagavata and the Bhagavadgita and  live a practical life in accordance with them. Explaining the things as above  Guru Harideva suggests that one’s spiritual teacher or Guru should be thoroughly conversant with the knowledge and instructions contained in the Bhagavata and Bhagavadgita. হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই উপদেশ দি কৈছে যে প্ৰত্যেক ব্যক্তিয়ে প্ৰতি দিনে ভাগৱত আৰু ভগৱদ্গীতা অধ্যয়ন কৰিব লাগে অথবা অন্য উপযুক্ত লোকে কৰা পাঠ আৰু ব্যাখ্যা শ্ৰৱণ কৰিব লাগে।লগতে কৈছে যে গীতা আৰু ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰই দিয়া জ্ঞান আৰু উপদেশ অনুসৰি পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা কৰিব লাগে আৰু দৈনন্দিন  ব্যৱহাৰিক জীৱন যাপন কৰিব লাগে। এই সিদ্ধান্তলৈ অহাৰ আগতে গুৰুজনাই বেদ ,দৰ্শন , সমস্ত পুৰাণ আৰু অন্যান্য  বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰসমুহ তন্ন তন্নকৈ অধ্যয়ন কৰিছিল ।তেওঁৰ মতে ভাগৱত আৰু ভগৱদ্গীতা বেদৰ জ্ঞানকাণ্ড বা বেদান্তৰ সাৰ অংশ । বেদত কোৱা হৈছে যে পৰম সত্য এক আৰু এই এক পৰম সত্যকে ঋষি-মুনিসকলে বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰে ব্যাখ্যা কৰিছে ।তাৰ ফলতে বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ আৰু বহু সংখ্যক বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰ দেখিবলৈ পোৱা যায় । সাধাৰণ মানুহৰ দৃষ্টিত প্ৰত্যেক শাস্ত্ৰৰ বিষয়-বস্তু পৃথক পৃথক যেন লাগে । কিন্তু প্ৰকৃততে প্ৰতিখন শাস্ত্ৰত একেটা বিষয় ব্যাখ্যা কৰা হৈছে আৰু সেয়া হৈছে পৰম সত্য বা আত্মা । এই পৰম সত্য বা আত্মাক উপলব্ধি কৰাই মানৱ জীৱনৰ চৰম লক্ষ্য বুলি কোৱা হৈছে ।প্ৰতিখন বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰতে কোৱা হৈছে যে আত্মাত বাদে জগতৰ ভিতৰে বাহিৰে যিমান বস্তু আছে সেই সমস্তই নশ্বৰ ।আত্মা বা পৰম সত্যত বাদে সমস্ত বস্তু আবিৰ্ভাৱ হয়, কিছুদিন থাকে আৰু তাৰ পিছত বিলুপ্ত হয় । স্থিতিশীল  অৱস্থাতো বস্তুসমুহ অবিৰতভাৱে পৰিবৰ্ত্তিত হৈ থাকে। সেয়েহে বস্তসমুহ চাব বা অন্য প্ৰকাৰে অনুভৱ কৰিব পাৰি যদিও একো বস্তুৰে অস্তিত্ব সত্য বুলি ধৰিব নোৱাৰি। বিষয়টো সাধাৰণ মানুহৰ বোধগম্য কৰাৰ বাবে বিভিন্ন শাস্ত্ৰত পৰম সত্য বা আত্মাত ভিন্ন ভিন্ন নাম , গুণ আৰু মহিমা আৰোপ কৰা হৈছে । ভাগৱত আৰু গীতা শাস্ত্ৰত পৰম সত্য বা আত্মাৰ নাম দিয়া হৈছে শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণ আৰু ইয়াতে শ্ৰীকৃষ্ণৰ গুণ, মহিমা আৰু ঐশ্বৰিক কাৰ্যাৱলী তুলনামূলকভাৱে সহজ সৰলকৈ ব্যাখ্যা কৰা হৈছে। গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে গীতা আৰু ভাগৱত শাস্ত্ৰৰ কথা শুদ্ধভাৱে বুজিব পাৰিলে নিজৰ ভিতৰতে থকা আত্মা বা ভগৱান কৃষ্ণক উপলব্ধি কৰিব পাৰি অৰ্থাৎ আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ কৰি মানৱ জীৱনৰ চৰম লক্ষ্যত উপনীত হ’ব পাৰি । এতিয়া কথা হৈছে গীতা আৰু ভাগৱতত দিয়া জ্ঞান আৰু উপদেশ শুদ্ধভাৱে বুজি লৈ সেইমতে পাৰমাৰ্থিক সাধনা আৰু দৈনন্দিন জীৱন যাপন কৰাৰ বাবে উপযুক্ত শিক্ষক বা গুৰুৰ পৰা অনেক কথা শিকিব লগীয়া থাকে ।সেয়েহে হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে শিষ্যই ভাগৱত আৰু গীতা শাস্ত্ৰৰ পূৰ্ণ জ্ঞান থকা গুৰু নিৰ্বাচন কৰা উচিত।(আগলৈ)
