Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva-131 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-১৩১)

 

In Bhagavata it is told that one can attain self realization or know  God only when God shows mercy to him . In the preceding post it is mentioned that after acquiring perfect knowledge pertaining to God by hearing from Guru and thorough study of the scriptures one can realize that it is not possible to know God by application of the thinking power of mind, reasoning power of intelligence and expressive power of  speech. In this context Guru Harideva tells that God is beyond mind , intelligence , speech and senses. But by application of the mind , intelligence,speech  and senses if one  acquires  knowledge pertaining to God  from the scriptures and  spiritual master and lives his life in accordance with the instructions contained in the scriptures then one becomes purified. In this way one can make himself eligible to receive mercy from God and know God. Without following such scriptural instructions people may  go  on uttering the name of God or go on discussing God mechanically. But it is not possible to attract  mercy from God and know him in that way. Guru Harideva tells that God is innumerable times greater than the greatest thing that we can imagine, God is innumerable times stronger  than the strongest thing that we can imagine , God’s beauty is innumerable times more than the most beautiful thing that we can imagine, God’s  knowledge is innumerable times more than the  most knowledgeable personality that we can imagine , God’s intelligence is innumerable time more than the most intelligent personality that we can imagine and so on . If the things are analyzed as above then it can be easily understood that it is not possible for human mind and intelligence to know such unimaginably vast God. Also, it is not possible to fully describe God by human speech .  But by study of scripture and hearing from Guru a human being can realize his own smallness in comparison to the unimaginable vastness of God . After such realization  the human mind automatically bows down to God.  If one comes to the Sharana or shelter of God at this stage then God shows mercy and reveals himself to such devotee. According to Guru Harideva this is the only way of knowing God or attainment of self-realization for the common people. (to be continued)

ভাগৱতত কোৱা হৈছে যে ভগৱান যাৰ প্ৰতি দয়াশীল হয় তেওঁহে সৰ্বান্তঃকৰণে ভগৱানৰ পাদপদ্মত আশ্ৰয় বা শৰণ গ্ৰ্হণ কৰি আত্মজ্ঞান লাভ কৰিব পাৰে বা ঈশ্বৰক দৰ্শন  কৰিব পাৰে ।ইয়াৰ আগৰ লিখনিটোত একেখিনি কথাকে উল্লেখ কৰি কোৱা হৈছে যে গুৰু আৰু শাস্ত্ৰৰ পৰা ঈশ্বৰ সম্পৰ্কে শুদ্ধ জ্ঞান আহৰণ কৰাৰ অন্ততহে  বুজিব পাৰি যে ঈশ্বৰক আমাৰ মনৰ চিন্তাশক্তি, বুদ্ধিৰ বিচাৰ শক্তি আৰু বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰা কৰা যুক্তিতৰ্কৰ মাধ্যমত জানিব নোৱাৰি । এই প্ৰসঙ্গত হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে  ঈশ্বৰ মন বুদ্ধি আৰু বাক্যৰ অগোচৰ। কিন্তু শাস্ত্ৰ আৰু গুৰুৰ নিৰ্দেশ অনুসৰি   মন, বুদ্ধি আৰু বাক্যৰ  শক্তি প্ৰয়োগ কৰি ঈশ্বৰ সম্পৰ্কীয় জ্ঞান আহৰণ কৰিলে আৰু শাস্ত্ৰীয় নীতি নিৰ্দেশ অনুসৰি দৈনন্দিন জীৱন যাপন কৰিলে দেহ মন ইন্দ্ৰিয়ৰ পবিত্ৰতা সাধন হয় । এনে  পবিত্ৰতা সাধনেই ঈশ্বৰৰ দয়া বা  কৃপা লাভ কৰাৰ বাবে যোগ্যতা অৰ্জন কৰাৰ উপায় । তাকে নকৰি কেৱল মুখেৰে যান্ত্ৰিকভাৱে ভগৱানৰ নাম উচ্চাৰণ কৰি থাকিলে বা ভগৱানৰ কথা গাই বাই থাকিলেই ঈশ্বৰ লাভ কৰিব নোৱাৰি । হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে মানুহে যিমান বৃহৎ বস্তুৰ কল্পনা কৰিব পাৰে ঈশ্বৰ তাতকৈ অনন্ত কৌটিগুণ বৃহৎ , মানুহে যিমান ধন-ঐশ্বৰ্যশালী পুৰুষৰ কথা কল্পনা কৰিব পাৰে ঈশ্বৰৰ ধন-ঐশ্বৰ্য  তাতকৈ অনন্ত কৌটি গুণ অধিক , মানুহে যিমান ৰূপ-সৌন্দৰ্যশালী বস্তুৰ কথা কল্পনা কৰিব পাৰে ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰূপ সৌন্দৰ্য তাতকৈ অনন্ত কৌটিগুণ অধিক , মানুহে যিমান শক্তিমান  ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুৰ কথা  কল্পনা কৰিব পাৰে  ঈশ্বৰ তাতকৈ অনন্ত কৌটিগুণ অধিক শক্তিমান  , মানুহে যিমান পৰিমাণৰ জ্ঞান বুদ্ধি সম্পন্ন ব্যক্তিৰ কথা কল্পনা কৰিব পাৰে  ঈশ্বৰৰ জ্ঞান  বুদ্ধি তাতকৈ অনন্তকৌটিগুণ অধিক , মানুহে যিমান পৰিমাণৰ বল-বীৰ্য সম্পন্ন ব্যক্তিৰ কথা কল্পনা কৰিব পাৰে ঈশ্বৰৰ বল-বীৰ্য তাতকৈ অনন্ত কৌটি গুণ অধিক ইত্যাদি ।সেয়েহে মানুহৰ জ্ঞান বুদ্ধিৰ দ্বাৰা এনে কল্পনাতীতভাৱে  বৃহৎ ঈশ্বৰক জনা বা মানুহৰ ভাষাৰ দ্বাৰা ঈশ্বৰৰ কথা বৰ্ণনা কৰি ঈশ্বৰ কি তাক বুজাই দিয়া অসম্ভৱ । কিন্তু  শাস্ত্ৰ অধ্যয়ন আৰু গুৰু উপদেশৰ পৰা এইবিলক কথা পুংখানুপুংখভাৱে জানি ললে  ঈশ্বৰৰ বৃহতত্ব আৰু তাৰ তুলনাত মানৱৰ ক্ষুদ্ৰত্ব অনুভৱ কৰিব পাৰি। এই অনুভূতি লাভ কৰাৰ পিছত মানৱ মনত ভগৱানৰ চৰণত শৰণ গ্ৰহণ কৰাৰ ইচ্ছা স্বতঃষ্ফূৰ্তভাৱে  জাগ্ৰত হয় । তেনে অৱস্থাত ভগৱানৰ শৰণ গ্ৰহণ  কৰিলে ভগৱানে দয়া প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰি শৰণ গ্ৰহণকাৰী ভক্তৰ ওচৰত নিজৰ প্ৰকৃত স্বৰূপ প্ৰকাশ কৰে। সাধাৰণ মানুহৰ বাবে ভগৱানক জনাৰ এয়ে একমাত্ৰ উপায়  বুলি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে । (আগলৈ)
