Religious Teachings of the “Satra” Institution of Guru Harideva-152 (হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাৰ সত্ৰানুষ্ঠানৰ ধৰ্মীয় শিক্ষা-১৫২)

 

Guru Harideva says that only one single kind of religious faith and the way of spiritual practices suggested there cannot attract all people. Because of that there are different varieties of religious faiths and various different methods of religious practices are suggested in different religious faiths. But in actuality God Almighty is only one and hence all people are bound to worship only one God Almighty. God appears to be different in the minds of different people and so their ways of worship also differ. Now, for each way of spiritual practice there is Acharya or spiritual teacher. No disciple can attain spiritual perfection without a Guru. So, it is suggested in the scriptures that the disciple of any religious faith must approach a spiritual Guru in accordance with his interest and choice. Or, it can be said that Guru-disciple tradition is there in all kinds  of religious faiths. Considering the things from that angle Guru Harideva says that all Acharyas or spiritual teachers are equally respectable for a disciple irrespective of his own religious faith. We can try to understand this point as follows. In a college various subjects are taught in science, arts and commerce streams. Lessons of different subjects are taught by different teachers qualified in different discipline. In spite of that all teachers are of equal rank and a student is supposed to show equal respect to all teachers irrespective of the field of his own study. In a similar way a disciple is supposed to show equal respect to all Acharyas or spiritual teachers. According to Guru Harideva a disciple of one religious faith should never contempt and envy an Acharya or Guru of any other religious faith. Analysing the things as above Guru Harideva says that it is the duty of a disciple  to learn the above facts regarding Guru and Guru-disciple tradition. He further says that even the sacrifices , charities , pilgrimage , penance etc performed by a disciple without obtaining recommendation and guidance from his Guru cannot bring due spiritual benefit. হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে মাত্ৰ এক প্ৰকাৰৰ ধৰ্মীয় বিশ্বাস আৰু  সেই বিশ্বাসৰ সৈতে সংযুক্ত উপাসনা-পদ্ধতি তথা আচাৰ-আচৰণে সকলো লোকক আকৰ্ষণ কৰিব নোৱাৰে । সেই কাৰণে জগতত অনেক প্ৰকাৰৰ ধৰ্মীয় বিশ্বাস  আছে আৰু তাৰ লগতে সেই বিশ্বাস সমুহৰ সৈতে সংলগ্ন বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ উপাসনা পদ্ধতি ইত্যাদিও আছে । কিন্তু প্ৰকৃতাৰ্থত পৰমেশ্বৰ এক আৰু সেই কাৰণে সকলো লোকে সেই একেজন পৰমেশ্বৰকে উপাসনা কৰাৰ বাবে বাধ্য । এক পৰমেশ্বৰ বিভিন্ন লোকৰ মনত বিভিন্ন ধৰণে প্ৰতিভাত হয় আৰু সেই কাৰণে বিভিন্ন লোকৰ উপসনা পদ্ধতিও পৃথক পৃথক হয় । এতিয়া কথা হৈছে যে  প্ৰত্যেক ধৰ্ম বিশ্বাস আৰু উপাসনা পদ্ধতিৰ  শিক্ষা প্ৰদান কৰাৰ বাবে  আচাৰ্য বা  গুৰু আছে । গুৰুৰ পৰা শিক্ষা গ্ৰহণ নকৰাকৈ কোনো শিষ্যই পাৰমাৰ্থিক পূৰ্ণতা লাভ কৰিব নোৱাৰে । সেয়েহে শাস্ত্ৰত কোৱা হৈছে যে প্ৰত্যেক শিষ্যই নিজৰ ৰুচি আৰু ধৰ্মীয় বিশ্বাস অনুযায়ী গুৰু গ্ৰহণ কৰিব লাগে । অথবা ক’ব পাৰি যে  সকলো পন্থাৰ  ধৰ্মীয় বিশ্বাসতে গুৰু-শিষ্য পৰম্পৰা আছে ।কথাবিলাক ওপৰোক্ত প্ৰকাৰে বিচাৰ বিবেচনা কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে শিষ্যৰ নিজা ধৰ্মীয় বিশ্বাস আৰু উপাসনা পদ্ধতি যিয়ে নহওক কিয় সকলো ধৰ্মীয় বিশ্বাস আৰু আচাৰ্য বা ধৰ্মগুৰু শিষ্যৰ বাবে সমানে সন্মান যোগ্য ব্যক্তি। কথাখিনি বুজাৰ বাবে আমি তলত দিয়াৰ দৰে চিন্তা কৰি চাব পাৰোঁ। এখন মহাবিদ্যালয়ত ক’লা , বিজ্ঞান , বাণিজ্য আদি বিভিন্ন শাখাত বিভিন্ন বিষয়ৰ শিক্ষা প্ৰদান কৰা হয় । প্ৰতিটো শাখাত বিভিন্ন বিষয়ৰ শিক্ষকে বেলেগ বেলেগ বিষয়ৰ পাঠ শিকায় যদিও সকলো শিক্ষক সমমৰ্যাদা সম্পন্ন। ইয়াতে এজন ছাত্ৰই নিজে যি বিষয় নপঢ়ক  কিয় মহাবিদ্যালয়খনৰ সকলো বিষয়ৰে শিক্ষক ছাত্ৰজনৰ বাবে সমানে সন্মানীয়। একেদৰে মানৱ সমাজৰ সকলো প্ৰকাৰৰ ধৰ্মপন্থাৰ সকলো আচাৰ্য বা গুৰুৰ প্ৰতি এজন শিষ্যই সমান সন্মান প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰা উচিত ।হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে কোনো শিষ্যই নিজৰ ধৰ্ম পন্থাৰ বাহিৰৰ অন্য কোনো আচাৰ্য বা ধৰ্মগুৰুক অৱমাননা আৰু ঈৰ্ষা কৰিব নালাগে ।  কথাবিলাক ওপৰোক্ত ধৰণে পৰ্য্যালোচনা কৰি শিষ্যই গুৰুতত্ব আৰু গুৰু-শিষ্য পৰম্পৰা সম্পৰ্কে পৰ্যাপ্ত জ্ঞান আহৰণ কৰা উচিত । গুৰুৰ অনুমতি আৰু  পৰিচালনা অবিহনে শিষ্যই অনুষ্ঠিত কৰা যাগ-যজ্ঞ-দান-তপ-জপ আদি সাধনা সমূহৰ দ্বাৰা আশানুৰূপ পাৰমাৰ্থিক ফল লাভ নহয় । গুৰুজনাই লগতে কৈছে যে সকলো ধৰ্ম পন্থাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰতে ওপৰোক্ত শাস্ত্ৰীয় নিৰ্দেশ সমূহ  প্ৰযোজ্য।(আগলৈ)
