A human being takes birth as a little baby. At that time, he does not know anything. Then he gradually grows up day by day under care of his parents and other relatives. During growing up he gradually learns to walk , speak , play and acquire  knowledge of everything essential to live a life in this world . Along with that he  gradually acquires knowledge about the life beyond his normal day to day life in this world. In this  process of learning  so many people become involved as his teachers . Parents , uncles , elder brothers and sisters and other elder relatives from his own family  teach him different lessons both theoretically and practically to make his life easier in this world. In addition to that a human being learns so many things from people of different fields of knowledge and profession present in the society. Moreover, as per Vedic tradition a human being is to be purified by some kinds of Vedic samskara or sacramental rituals. It is suggested that at least ten sacramental rituals are involved during the life time of a human being from his birth to death . Vedic rituals related to eating of traditional  food and cutting of hair for first time  , wearing of sacred thread, performance of marriage ceremony etc. are included in the sacramental process. It is told that performance of those sacramental rituals makes a human being perfect in all respects. Parents, priests and other senior members of the society are entrusted with various kinds of responsibilities in performance of those sacramental  Vedic rituals for the benefit of a human being of the next generation. In this way the senior members of human society make our life easier by transferring their own knowledge and experiences of life  to us . Analyzing the things as above Guru Harideva says that the original source of all kinds of knowledge is the Vedas and the Vedas originates from God Almighty. Thus, the knowledge from God Almighty flows as traditions through our fore fathers generation after generation and we receive those knowledge from people immediately senior to us. মানুহ এটি সৰু পানী-কেঁচুৱা হৈ জন্ম গ্ৰহণ কৰে।কেঁচুৱাৰ একো জ্ঞান নাথাকে। পিতৃ-মাতৃৰ আদৰ যত্নত সেই অৱস্থাৰ পৰা লাহে লাহে ডাঙৰ হয় । ডাঙৰ হৈ থকাৰ সমান্তৰালভাৱে খোজ কাঢ়িবলৈ শিকে, কথা ক’বলৈ শিকে , অন্যান্য কথা আৰু কাম শিকে । এনেদৰে এই সংসাৰত জীৱন ধাৰণ কৰি থকাৰ বাবে প্ৰয়োজনীয় সমস্ত প্ৰকাৰৰ জ্ঞান আৰু কৌশল ক্ৰমান্বয়ে আহৰণ কৰি এটা সময়ত মানৱ শিশু মানুহত পৰিণত হয় । ইয়াৰ লগতে মানুহে দৈনন্দিন জীৱনত সদায় দেখি থকা  পৰিচিত জগতখনৰ বাহিৰত এখন পাৰমাৰ্থিক জগত আছে বুলিও জানিব পাৰে আৰু সেইখন জগতৰ বিষয়েও অনেক কথা শিকে । পিতৃ-মাতৃ ,  পিতৃ-মাতৃ স্থানীয় লোক, জ্যেষ্ঠ ভাতৃ-ভগ্নী , পৰিয়ালৰ অন্যান্য জ্যেষ্ঠ সদস্য সকলে শিশু কালৰ পৰাই মানুহক কথাবিলাক শিকায়। তদুপৰি সমাজত বসবাস কৰা বিভিন্ন প্ৰকাৰৰ গুণ-জ্ঞান সম্পন্ন লোক আৰু বিভিন্ন  বৃত্তি বা কাজ-কৰ্মত নিযুক্ত হৈ থকা অভিজ্ঞ ব্যক্তিয়ে মানুহক অনেক কথা শিকায়।তাৰ ফলত জগতত জীৱন ধাৰণ কৰি পাৰমাৰ্থিক বিষয়ত মন সংযোগ কৰাটো মানুহৰ বাবে সহজ সাধ্য হয় । তদুপৰি বৈদিক পৰম্পৰা অনুসৰি শৰীৰ-মনৰ পবিত্ৰতা সাধনৰ অৰ্থে কিছুমান সংস্কাৰ কাৰ্যৰ প্ৰয়োজন আছে । তাৰ বাবে  জন্মৰ পৰা মৃত্যুলৈকে কমেও দহোটি  সংস্কাৰ কাৰ্যৰ বিধান বৈদিক শাস্ত্ৰত  দিয়া হৈছে । অন্নপ্ৰাসন ,চূড়াকৰণ , উপনয়ন ,বিবাহ আদি কাৰ্য উক্ত  সংস্কাৰ মূলক কাৰ্য তালিকাৰ অন্তৰ্গত । কোৱা হৈছে যে উক্ত সংস্কাৰ কাৰ্য সমূহৰ দ্বাৰা শৰীৰ মনৰ উৎকৰ্ষ সাধন হয় আৰু তাৰ ফলত  সাধাৰণ মানুহ পূৰ্ণ মানৱত পৰিণত হ’ব  পাৰে। পিতৃ-মাতৃ , পুৰোহিত শ্ৰেণীৰ লোক আৰু  সমাজৰ বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠ লোকে কনিষ্ঠ সকলৰ  উপকাৰৰ অৰ্থে উক্ত সংস্কাৰ কাৰ্য সমূহ প্ৰতিপালন কৰাৰ দায়িত্ব গ্ৰহণ কৰে ।এনেদৰে মানৱ সমাজৰ বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠ লোক সকলে নিজে সঞ্চয় কৰা জ্ঞান আৰু অভিজ্ঞতাৰ ভাগ দি কনিষ্ঠ সকলক সকলো প্ৰকাৰে সহায় কৰে ।কথাবিলাক ওপৰোক্ত ধৰণে বিচাৰ বিশ্লেষণ কৰি হৰিদেৱ গুৰুজনাই কৈছে যে বেদৰ পৰাই সকলো প্ৰকাৰৰ জ্ঞান উদ্ভৱ হৈছে আৰু পৰমেশ্বৰৰ পৰা বেদৰ উদ্ভৱ হৈছে ।সেয়েহে ক’ব পাৰি যে পৰমেশ্বৰৰ জ্ঞান পৰম্পৰাৰ মাধ্যমত পুৰুষ-পুৰুষানুক্ৰমে জগতত প্ৰবাহিত হৈ আছে আৰু আমাৰ জীৱনত লগ পোৱা বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠ লোকৰ মাধ্যমত সেই জ্ঞান আমি লাভ কৰি আছো। সেই কাৰণে সমাজৰ সকলো জ্যেষ্ঠ সদস্যই আমাৰ বাবে গুৰু সদৃশ আৰু  তেওঁলোক  যথোচিত সন্মান পোৱাৰ যোগ্য । (আগলৈ)
